What do you expect of people joining the americans instead of fighting them? Remember that going to war excluding all the good patriotic men is not the same thing. The real motivated men who would die at a heartbeat for their people don't join americans, they see Americans as the present day Soviets, righteously so. Since the invasion, Afghanistan now provides at least 80% of the world's opium. It's a $3 billion business.
Note the Taliban's take is around $200 million.
For people who can do math, that's less than 10% of the total score.

Taliban destroyed almost all of the opium business during their rule. Why would they profit from it now? What you are saying is propaganda.

See my comment made about 9 hours from the time of this post and just below. Yes, its the scum that keeps getting elected from either party. None of the people I voted for ended up winning their elections at the federal level. I did vote for Ron Paul who would have tried to end the meaningless war(s) and put a stop to the deficit spending. IMO, both big steps in the right direction.
