I find that a lot of the old stuff focuses too heavily on robots and mechas and I never quite understood the fascination with it. Don't get me wrong, I loved one of the Gundam series that aired in England many years ago, and even now I don't understand why I liked it.

I just wonder why so many of them focused on Mechas while now days they focus on your average ordinary guy who gets dragged into a magical/fantasy war between Good and Evil.

I guess in the end I don't know why I like anime.
