@ricardoieci We did it in Hansen Studios which has recorded a lot of big names, and our bassist was behind the buttons. He's been working with that for a long time.

Anyway - good sound? Use good mics, good preamps, good interface and nudge it a bit. That's the way to go man ;)

Your pretty good. And for the comments saying "it sounds bland, etc". It's because he's in a studio. The acoustics in those rooms differ from a show; where it's miced and coming out of speakers, or in a garage or bedroom. The sound is supposed to be a little dampened like that.

@DPMAN2424 Of course it is, all you can hear are drums. Breakdowns aren't complicated. Even ABR breakdowns are simple, but they are deliberate and appropriate, and you can jump to them. That's the whole point of a breakdown, not for the drummer to show off.

The china is a Zildjian ZBT. The sound is great, but the longevity is not.

The bell is home made. An old Meinl ride + a grinder = "zil bell"

You're right. It's at Tama Superstar Hyperdrive. 10", 12", 14", 16" Toms, 22" BD and 14x5'5 Snare.
