I'm with you man. I really feel like SC2 has the potential to be huge here in North America as opposed to just Korea. I tuned into NASL yesterday and there were only around 18k viewers on. That number should be much higher.
I used to play MMORPG "Dofus" and there were (are?) team tournaments once per year. Video footage of those matches or some famous players showoff duels or even interviews "scrap" 600K+ views. Ant there are no commentaries so no in game knowledge is required.
There must be plenty of other games with massive events that needs to get on youtube.
The reason you can't sleep is because playing SC2 means alot to you if you win or lose because of your stats etc. Playing LOL is really hilarious and it doesn't matter if you win or lose because the enjoyment doesn't come mainly from the winning or the stats. Its also a lower stress game with a lower APM requirement meaning your brain is more "turned off" while you are playing LOL, meaning you can relax more. Also, there is a much more relaxed culture playing LOL, whereas SC2 is extra serious! x

The replay application you're looking for is called LoLRecorder. All you do is turn it on, play the game and that's it. It also let's you view other replays of course. CLG has a couple games hosted on their website if I remember correctly. But 1350 and up Diggity?
Below 1500 elo you will very often get aweful players sadly. It stabilizes a bit past 1500 even though it's not guaranteed. Not at all saying you cannot have very good matches in lower elo but it'd be easier to aim a little higher.
Yea more ads. You and PsY are the only casters that I disable adblock for. Husky is a thumbs up/publicity whore, and HD is a moron. Also, you should dualcast with PsY.

On games to cast, especially competitive games, there can never be too much TF2. There's barely any TF2 commentators on YouTube, and even less for competitive TF2. It'd definitely be nice to get a crossover going there.
About the mic: You could make things easier for yourself by adding rubber bands.. That is: Don't have the mic connecting to the table through just hard materials. That would save you the trouble of the extra table..
This video has some sound-encoding issues though: It sounds like it was at some point compressed to a really low bandwidth, or with a bad codec. Like a low bit-rate mp3 -- the treble is crushed to a river of blocky crumbs (or somthing like that..)
@fragmentsoferik Right now I am doing everything through SoX and then transcoding through neroaac to m4a. Its definitely out of my realm of expertise. I usually just trans-code audio that is already crisp. Still experimenting. Hopefully it will improve.
@diggitySC I guess my general tip would be to ensure that the bit-rate is set pretty high all the way. I'm not familiar with SoX, but it could be recording to a compressed format, instead of something like an uncompressed (48kHz / 44.1kHz 16bit PCM) wav-file, in which case you should check the codec and bitrate used. Otherwise it's the neroaac-encoding that uses too low bitrate (for the AAC inside the m4a). Finally you could try adding a lowpass filter (in sox) to remove the highest frequencies.
@diggitySC You work there? Good. Perhaps you can answer the question of why my DivX stops working once I close firefox. As in, i dl it -> it works -> i close and re open browser -> freeze my firefox when i try to open it :(
There is a lot of SC2 content on Youtube now. I remember back in high school I would watch every game of SC1... subscribed to diggity, cholera, moletrap, rise, nukethestars, and klazart never missing it... but now in college and being bombarded by all of these games I just stopped watching as much as I used to...

David, or "X" as he is better known is who got me interested in watching SC2 commentaries. He did so by pulling me in with Minecraft, so I think your idea is a good one. I must say though after watching so many SC2 videos from you, X and Husky I did get a bit burnt out and I watch far less now than I used to. On the subject of Minecraft though; theres already tons upon tons of Minecraft 'lets plays' out there already, but checking out other peoples SMP servers could be interesting. :)
