The watch is lucky to be worth $100, let alone $15,000. Looks cheap, not nearly as functional as my $90 stainless steel watch, not as sturdy, and I doubt it can handle water up to the same depth as mine can. Hardly worth anything. It can be reproduced by kids in high school for less.

All replica watches coming out of china use copy eta or seagull movements, this is way to complex for them to attempt. 15k, if thats the real price, is very cheap, as haute horological masterpeices like it usually sell for 6 figures -- 150k to 1 million. It's not anyone's (especially not the government's) priority to copy this watch. There are basically just a bunch of dial, case, and movement factories that have limited capabilities in terms of what they can copy. They can copy a rolex e-z because theres nothing "special" in its construction. I can copy this watch with the right machining equipment.
