I work at that factory. Some tools are made in china, some in us. Every sawzall blade and holesaw is made in greenwood.

yep! ive stuck my blade directly into soil to find an underground root and cuts not problem!! people call all recip saws a sawzall but they dont know that milwaukee invented it and wonder why i use only milwaukee tools, 5 yr warranty! buy quality!

With the Chinese economy busting in relation to the economy in the rest of the world, where do you think that our power tools will be made in next? Hopefully we want to see them return to manufacturing in the U. S.

Exactly, I'm a Milwaukeean, and it disgraces my city that some Mississippian company (making stuff mainly manufactured in China) is using our name! I want to see more stuff manufactured in the US, too! But, it won't meet Walmart or Target standards of price, and less people will buy/sell it. The sad circle of a product's life, and our economy!

we are never doing manufacturing in the u.s. again. this is part of becoming the globalization of the world, and the u.s. is becoming a post industrial nation. manufacturing will continue to disappear, and new jobs will be based in technology and finances.
