the way nba live gameplay is like..the games shots either miss or you make them in depending on whos winning or losing..the computer will try and make it a intense game as much as possible...like if ur driving the lane and ur down by 4 .. hit X you'll probbly get the lay up and a foul depending on whos turn it is to be on a run . . . and u can know if its your turn because sometimes when u drive the lane you'll go right thru a defender.  . . .

I played both, I own NBA Live 09, that freezing ball glitch is nothing compared to what older versions had (like super high jumping in previous ones), NBA 2K9 has that weird glitch where you score and the ball is still in play and you can score again without the other team taking the ball in.
