The guy said something about money that I didn't understand. The only part I understood was my friend's response-not the money-related part of it, but the part where he gave a long explanation about why the guy is totally wrong.

I thought the guy was going to have a snappy response, but he went totally silent on the matter.

I thought Wikipedia had gotten the information in question half-right but Britt, another of my supervisors, said the information was completely wrong. An EKG is one of the first two tests they use to determine heart disease. Echocardiogram is the other.

Britt has a Bachelor's degree in Emergency Medical Technology as well as a Paramedic license.

Where does Wikipedia get their information? Don't they cross-check what they print?

Wikipedia comes right out and admits they don't have all the information, or they wouldn't always be offering the opportunity to 'clean up' the article and edit for clarification.

My friend told me to try calling my landlord when the music's playing, b/c I'd mentioned telling the landlord didn't work.

I thought waking him seemed rude, but B said it guarantees motivation to act.

It worked, but I still feel odd about doing it.

I do like the fact that you defined what a factard is, because often times I cross check my information with multiple sources before trying to launch any sort of debate.

i will admit that sometimes i over analyze things, especially small details. it's a good skill sometimes, but it also gets very annoying. luckily i've been taking things much easier and focusing on the big picture, which i find to be much more relevant.
