i really enjoyed your performance, however the number of pauses kind of put off the tempo and flow of the monologue for me, pausing is important but i felt like there were too many and slightly too long, now i'm not a proffesional just a student like yourself so dont take this constructive feedback in the wrong way but again i really enjoyed watching and i would like to see more vids :)
that was good! It was deep, and thats how most men feel after words especailly when it wasnt planed and da rela is upside down. Good luck keep pushing
This is Shauna again, responding to everyone's request for the script behind Child Number One.
Unfortunately, Bill is more of an entity and not so much a character in a play. I wrote a series of monologues while listening to different songs, a monologue for each song I which struck me. Bill came out of that exercise as I tried to capture the struggle that one particular song embodied. If you have any particular questions about him, though, I can probably answer them.
Hey!Does anyone know where i can get the script for this monologue, cos i thought it was great and im trying to get into a drama school and i have to do an audition....Id love to do this monologue for it so if anyone can help me with findinf the script to the paly or even just the monologue that'd be real cool!
So either leave a comment above this one or comment me
Where's the humor? Where's the love? What are you fighting for? You're feelings are so vague that the scene comes across very flat. The only vocal change is the volume. It's the same note the whole time, and the rate is also static. What's with all the pauses? Try to say the whole thing in half the time.
Also, you are wasting a ton of energy with your hands!
I'm sorry, but I didn't believe a single word. And that's because you didn't fully believe.

Good monologue and good portrayal of someone in this situation, liked the hand motions they added to the overall preformance!

Hey, it's Shauna Vert!
My boyfriend showed me this video just today, I watched it and all I could say afterwards was "That's EXACTLY how I pictured it done."
You're very talented..thank you for putting life into my character, and all the best with your acting career. =]
