Final Cut Pro X is compatible With more iMovieHD06 plug-ins ?? I Have to Bought the more plug-ins for my iMovieHD06 and I wold like to use them with Final Cut Pro X. Thanks for your possible answer .

@istartmacrumors When I try to drag a transition ( lets say the flash ) onto a clip it doesnt let me, and goes to this one part thats no where near where i wanted it to go ><...Fucken final cut... Using FCP X 10.0

I think if you send it to Apple compresor before you export it, you can do the final croping there, and that inludes the transactions too. If you wanted the film look with the black bars on the top and the bottom of video.

okay this may be an utterly stupid question, but I just started with Pro X so I'm back on the memory lane how it felt starting with Final Cut. When I'm trying to adjust the transistions, I simply can't. It shows this crossed ring and won't let me put it on the clips. Tell me, how do I do it?

to fix the crop thing u have to add all your effects first then bring in the crop

I got a question:

1. I use a lot of snap editing to music to pictures, would you use the music on the bottom line and pictures and videos on the top lines?

2. When I import a clip and it's too long or short I drag it to make it longer, but sometimes it gets out of sync. I put the "T" button and sometimes it frustrates me, because now everything that was "in sync" will get out of sync

any suggestions.

Final Cut Pro 7 was too hard for me to use. Final Cut X is much more user-friendly !

It seems like most of your effects did crop after you exported (except for bloom). Maybe it just needed to render. I haven't try it yet.

@thenbtshowtv I think it is the best software out there for beginners and beyond. Also, Motion 5 is a steal at $50. izzyvideo website provides over 2 hours of free awesome tutorials for FCPX.

@LostConnectionToHost Its gonna be up on the mac app store, so suggest you keep an eye out for that. Reviews by dev say the new Mission control isnt as simplistic as before. I have tried it myself and I think so too. Anyway, its your choice, but Im not gonna buy the OS directly, im gonna buy a new macbook pro.

I think Apple will win because more users will be upgrading from iMovie. It def feels like iMovie pro over FCP, but it is what it is. Thanks for sharing the info. We'll be posting some tutorials as well. ~Amani

@webvideochefs Apple seems to be taking the consumer or prosumer route with FCPX. Hopefully they patch some of these problems some people have with a few software updates in the near future. Thanks for watching and commenting. Sounds good, Ill be sure to check them out :)
