  • Hard in the mother fucking paint waka

  • dennis was 6'8

  • Dennis Rodman, a DETROIT PISTON FIRST AND ALWAYS.

  • after watching this vid by Rodman..it makes me realized that he was one main reason why Jordan and the Bulls were defeated 3 times in the playoff by PISTON...Best rebounder and one of the best defensive player ever...HATS OFF TO THE WORM!

  • I've asked someone I know at work who used to play professional basketball in Romania about rebounding alone when Rodman's name came about. His reply was "that it's a very hard skill to attain when you have forwards around you battling for the loose ball." So kudos to the best rebounder and also the best shutdown d-man in history who had to 'work' for a spot in the Hall.

  • To tell you the truth, I really did not think he had a shot at the HALL OF FAME. Bill Laimbere and Vinnie Johnson are still not in the Hall of Fame. Two off-the-bench good guys.

  • Lets see how much you guys defend the NBA players of this era when there is no season. They need to stop whining and play. These players make more money in a week than some of us see in a year! The owners need to get there act together as well. The MINIMUM NBA salary is 473,604!

  • 2:54 - 4:43 what is the name of this song? I've been looking all over the place for it please help. :)

  • kevin love is the first player i seen since rodman to attack the ball once it flys off the rim.

  • 2:54 - 4:43 what is that background music? I heard it on every hall of fame induction highlights

  • badass. enough said always will be a bull and a piston

  • no one could go after the ball like DR. i like it when he taps the ball from a missed shot and keep tapping it until he gets the rebound. today's players will just try to rebound it once and then nothing. i hate that. looks lazy to me.

  • Honestly, I don't wanna be rude.. but WTF is up with Rodmans fucking voice?

  • Oh my god, he could guard Shaquille O'neal?!, damn he's a legend

  • The passion for the game where he could make a difference....

  • RON ARTEST SHOULD WATCH THIS VIDEO

  • I am kind of glad we got a lockout going, enough of these Jerome James's that show up for one series get a contract and call it a day for next 3 years, this guy is an example of what the league should be about, and he is also a great character on the court.

  • All Heart, 6'6 averaging 16.7 boards for 7 seasons, come on thats insane never anyone like him again, nobody hustled like this guy, I wish you the best Dennis and may you live many years.

  • 2:45 , damn u man .. y did u do this to me :D

  • Plain and simple, many players in every sport r question in their heart/ money desire, especially NBA players. Mj was paid 2 mill for most his career until his last 2 seasons with the bulls. Rodman can't score for shit, but his heart is was most players lack today. Kobe Garnett and Duncan r the only ones I think of maybe rose wade and dirk. I'm not saying there bad, they just lack that edge to dominate, especially melo and Lebron

  • Sorry but the only thing I could think of was Sakuragi from Slam Dunk if anyone knows the show.

"Control the rebounds and you control the game."

  • @ANormalGuy ya, Slam Dunk's too good.

  • tyler the creator coped his swag

  • Check out his "new" photos /watch?v=4PtRDir6aoY

  • no wedding dress?

  • When Morgan Freeman passes on...I want Scottie Pippen to narrate my movies.

  • 2 dislikes dont know shit bout NBA!!!!!!

  • Kevin love another rising great rebounder!

  • @GDyoulistening yup yup lets just hope he is able to find a team or gets a team where all those rebounds will count..

  • @jasper2008ify whatever man. Even the best players today are to soft. Dirks soft, Durants soft, Amare's soft, Lebron James is a joke, about the only player in today's game on his way past his prime is Kobe. I don't even like the Lakers but Kobe has the heart of yesterdays players, I'll even give a little to Wade he tries his best always. The problem with today's NBA fan is small accomplishments endear you to them. The players of the past mesmerized you with there desire EVERY game.

  • @Mach1club your arguments stupid.l just stfu i agree with the other guy

  • @jasper2008ify Ya sure they got paid less but at least they were fucking good, Alot of the high paid players suck balls. Im not saying all of them do, Kobe Dirk Rose Durant Lebron. They are all good players but do you really think Peja Stojakivic and elton brand deserve to make over 14 mil while Kevin Love makes a little over 3 million

  • @jasper2008ify Yeah but how about all the other players making millions but sucking, Vladimir Radmanovic makes about 11 million a year and is absolutely terrible, For many players its not about the game but about the money and publicity.

  • He made defence into a "sweet science".

  • Long live The Worm!!

  • 16.7 boards over the time he won the rebounding titles... UNREAL

  • Another Detroit Piston in the Hall of Fame. Isiah Thomas, Joe Dumars, and now Dennis Rodman. Let us remember where Rodman got his start first. It was not in Chicago or San Antonio. It was in DETROIT.

  • @ARepublicanVictory yeah where did he win the most rings Chicago

  • @computerlodddh does not matter, still he played most of his days for the Pistons. Fuck Chicago.

  • @ARepublicanVictory Ok but at the end of the day he won rings with Chicago. Yeah playing basketball is about having fun team chemistry and just playing the game cause you love it. But when your in the nba its the championships and he that in Chicago

  • @computerlodddh I will say it again bvecause you are not understanding what I am talking about. HE MADE HIS CAREER WITH THE DETROIT PISTONS. Sure he played with Chicago, but when you think of Dennis Rodman, you think of Detroit because he defended against Michael Jordan better than anyone else. DO YOU UNDERSTAND> AND HE ALSO WON CHAMPIONSHIPS WITH DETROIT, NOT TO MENTION MORE AWARDS WITH DETROIT. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?????!!!!!

  • @ARepublicanVictory DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT HE WON MORE CHAMPIONSHIPS IN CHICAGO NOT DETROIT SEE SOME TIME YOU JUST TO SPOON FEED IT TO SOME PEOPLE LOL

  • @computerlodddh I DO NOT GIVE A FUCK HOW MANY CHAMPIONSHIPS HE WIN IN CHICAGO. HE HAD MOST OF HIS FUCKING CAREER WITH DETROIT, YOU STUPID FUCKING RETARDED BITCH. YOU STILL DO NOT UNDERSTAND THAT. THIS IS ALL THAT I AM SAYING. FUCK CHICAGO AND FUCK YOU. DENNIS RODMAN WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED MOOOOOOORE AS A DETROIT PISTON. NOT A STUPID FUCKING FREAK THAT HE WAS IN CHICAGO. NOW GET LOST BITCH. YOU HAVE A LACK OF UNDERSTANDING.

  • @ARepublicanVictory LOL YOU SHOULD CARE AND I BET IF YOU ASK HIM WHERE THE FUN AT CHICAGO WHERE DID YOU MORE CHAMPIONSHIPS CHICAGO WHAT TEAM HAD BETTER TEAM-MATES CHICAGO CHICAGO CHICAGO FUCK THE PISTONS THEY SUCK AND ALWAYS WILL DENNIS RODMAN WILL ALWAYS BE KNOWN AS BULL NOT A PISTON SO FUCK YOU LOL

  • @computerlodddh Detroit Piston's kicked Chicago's ass all the time, dumb ass. Detroit has Dumars and Thomas also in the Hall of Fame. If Detroit sucks, why were they back to back champions? Stupid ass, Chicago will NEVER EVER win another championship. So get use to it. Atleast Detroit did win another one in less than 10 years. Did Chicago? Get the fuck on and shut the fuck up. All retarded Chicago Bull teams do is use Detroit players who win championships IN DETROIT FIRST. REMEBER BEN WALLACE?

  • @ARepublicanVictory yes and Chicago got Dennis, Pippen, Jordan, nigga REMEMBER MICHEAL JORDAN THE GREATEST BASKETBALL PLAYER THAT EVER LIVED. when he hooked up with dennis pippen and kerr fuck detroit

  • i came here after watching his speech...

  • @Efreezy29 me too

  • @Efreezy29 didnt everyone

  • "Rebound #34" wtf?! I would kill to see that in today's game!

  • Chuck Daly - Dennis, your main role here at the Pistons is to get the center out of the paint. 2nd is to get the ball from the boards. 3rd, pass the ball to Isiah. Phil Jackson - Dennis, your main and only role here in Chicago is to get "everyone" out of the paint. 2nd is to get "every" ball from the boards and 3rd pass the ball to MJ or Scottie. Dennis did his job and did it perfectly well. DR is one of the greatest player that ever played the game of basketball.

  • lol @ Rodman doing cartwheels and backflips on the court way to hussel

  • one of the bulls' power trio

"the one who gets the rebound controls the game"

  • As a TRUE fan of the NBA.........you have to love Dennis Rodman! No one is required to approve or accept his (at times), truly bazaar behavior, ON or OFF the court.......but as a pure Basketball player, with the TALENT, ENTHUSIASM & pure EMOTION that he bought to the game.......Dennis was worth his weight in Gold! I sincerely doubt we will EVER witness another individual like Dennis Rodman on a NBA court again.

  • If only today's NBA players played with the passion and desire of these former greats, basketball would be so much better. The NBA has turned into a bunch of rich overpaid spoiled cry babies. I don't hate them for getting paid, I do hate that they take the money and don't produce. Where are the stars of yesterday? I challenge all NBA players to bring it!

  • @Mach1club i would have agreed with you 3-4 years ago. however, if you look at some of the dominant teams in the league today, they are "getting it". defense has become front and center again with teams like the Celtics and Miami. the Bulls and Lakers also are emphasizing it. stars like LeBron, D-Wade and Kobe are focused on elevating their D. so, i have to disagree with you. i see D talked about as much now as it once was. it is making a rebound, pun intended.

  • @jrbungit I never mentioned one word about defense. I said played with passion and desire. To many whiners in today's game and they cant produce night in and night out. There are a few exceptions to the rule, but even that is few.

  • @Mach1club if your point is about passion and desire then sure, today's players play with less passion than those of the past. but it is not night/day. the league has always, and will always, have a percentage that play with desire and passion and a percentage that don't.

larger contracts are partly to blame for today's play. but still, there are MANY players out there that play the game passionately. last season in particular showed that. everyone wanted to kill miami. it made the game fun.

  • @Mach1club Derrick Rose, my friend! You catch the hunger in him and how he plays to win and not for the money.

  • @Mach1club Every basketball era has their hustle players and greats such as rodman and every era has the slackers and show offs who are just in it for the money and fame. Just because the media coverage is so much more intensified now compared to 15-20 years ago we know about them much more often now.

  • 1:09 - Rodman in a perfect defense position...

  • Every NFL highlight of the 2011 season

    vvvvvvvvvvv

  • Is Scotty Pippens nose longer than the average penis?

  • @Zigazigah99 - No, just yours...

  • Why does Michael Jordan have a Railroad Engeneers hat on? Is he working for AmTrak now?

  • Comment removed

  • @Zigazigah99 - He's wearing a Nike Bunker Shot Golf Hat. No, he's not working for Amtrak. If he was wearing an engineers' hat it would be because he's got a...oh never mind.

  • greatest eva!

  • @swaguymusicpage

No he only won it the next year. It was the defensive player of the year not rebounding title.

  • @hmzmusse32 no natural talent? maybe not in skills like dribbling and shooting, but he was an athletic freak. strong like steel wire and a phenomenal endurance.

  • please disable the "thumbs down" button on this one

  • tru great

  • Dennis should have won the defensive player of the year award in 1989 over Mark Eaton. Rodman worked harder over the 7'4" Eaton.

  • he's awesome. I hated him on the Pistons but loved him on the Bulls
