I remember my first time on a stand up a couple years ago. Was buying a 550 and the guy let me test ride it. Being so light weight i took right off in a straight line and stood up instantly. Then i tried to turn... Its pretty easy to pick up the basics of stand ups but you will always be learning something new each time you ride, thats what makes it so much more fun then sit downs! Remember, when in doubt hit the gas. You will be surprised how many near falls you can ride out if you just pin it
