@st1ngr4g3 ZBrush is a way more complex and complete program than Sculptris. It has so many more tools, but Sculptris has one feature that ZBrush hasn't, It's adaptive sub-division, helps keep the poly count lower. But as it's free give it a go. Also in this category of modelling tools are Mudbox and 3D Coat. Try Demos and see what suits you. But ZBrush with the Goz function is pretty awesome. (swaps between major 3D packages and itself)
i dont have a good computer to do this sort of stuff: P but i downloaded Sculptris and tryed it, after i got a little far it started to lag alot and super slow, anyway i can avoid this?
Amazing work man. You can sculpt like a machine! I had my first Zbrush class this semester and its extremely exciting to learn. Thanks for posting your work.
@LegionOf3 It does look easy to do when your watching someone like him do it, but when you try it urself for the first time ur like ummm wtf OH SHIT I DELETED IT. once u get he hang of it and know all the key comands you will look like this guy
Pretty cool model, I just wish people would take the time to finish with more asymmetry. All zbrush models are becoming one half cloned. good technique and style though.
Hey, I have a question, also, that was an awesome sculpture you created. Anyways my question is, can you export a Zbrush document to become an obj. file, so it can be imported into the 3D animation program Lightwave? Or in that case, any 3D animation program at all.
I have a question, why did you went out to Max to model the teeth instead of making just one as a subtool inside Zbrush and then cloning it for each tooth? o.o?
@MrLilleKriss Mostly, yes. I self taught myself while I was in highschool and posted on a couple of message boards that i got critique from people who knew more than me. =)
Just a quick question...Could you get this model rigged or is it just for show? I know how to rig and have done with much lower poly models, this model however would seem almost impossible to get fully rigged.
You generally would not rig this resolution of character. You would create a lower poly mesh and have a displacement map(for film) or normal map(for games) and rig the lower res mesh. That said, i guess you COULD rig the head. It would be a mess and ill advised? But painting weights would work.
Whats the difference between Skulptris and ZBrush 4? any Answer

How do you hide part of the mesh to work on one part?
Assassinsfreak 1 year ago
is it automatically on symetrical editing? and can you do asymetrica editing?
drumskater337 2 years ago
@drumskater337 Its symmetrical, yes. And yes you can turn that off.
officerbeardontcare 2 years ago
@drumskater337
also on multiple axes, the artist here is using the X-axis symetry but X, Y and Z is all possible

Symph909 2 years ago
Because I did not intend to sculpt the teeth at all. They were hardsurface models and as such it was faster to just quickly throw them into max. =)

nice, btw, who is this song by? I really like it and what is the name of it?
