@hmbeliever Actually there are tons of Christian bands that over do it on the makeup. Look up on youtube "Christian Black Metal" Those bands dress up and look like the band Kiss. I personally don't like Black Metal, but the point is as long it's for Christ that's all that really matters.
@hmbeliever I think it's because they probably weren't Christians before and so when they became Christians and made bands they still liked black metal and so they dress up liked the most black metal bands so that other people who like that type of music will be able to listen and look at the way the bands looks to feel like they are not making a drastic change and so they feel like they don't have to give up on their style of music.
Head likes Nu Metal and so his bands looks like Nu Metal.
I've been a Korn fan since the first album. I could totaly relate to the lyrics. I was totally lost and confused, full of pain and hate. The music was a release of my emotions, but also brought me to a dark place. The music was like a friend to me. The music understood what i was feeling inside. But the music never gave me hope just more depressing thoughts of how missed up my life has been. Seeing Head leave the band for Christi, help open my eyes to find out what this God thang was about. @abbafire7 I try to get that across to my atheist friends. I was an atheist and really noticed that, of what Jesus did as I read scripture. As a Christian, I can no longer support Brian's music. This music video is so dark, horrific, and filled with anger and violence. How does this praise or uplift God? @txdave37 i went to a concert of his a couple weeks ago. it was full of worship to the Lord and a bunch of ppl got on stage at the end and accepted Christ, and then Head performed a kick butt song to Gods glory. Hes just a Christian who came up hard before he found God and delivers his message differently then others. He reaches to people that most other Christians can't.

For the most part i never put too much significance on lyrics, but head actually has a good lead voice, and it's obvious to me that he probably did most of the writing in korn, espcially when it came to the riffing
I get goosebumps when I watch Brian rock out with his dreads flying everywhere, it is so metal. Saw him live with RED in Norfolk, VA back in October and loved every second of it. He's a good guy and puts on an amazing show.
The music pretty much sounds like Korn (which isn't a bad thing), and i like JD's voice a little bit better. But the main riff and the breakdown part sound kick ass!
Head was such a key element for Korn with the riffs the band lost there edge when he left he was kind of like the dark side of the band... Munky is good but was more into sound effects than riffs ... PS: notice that K7 guitar :)

@Virgilivs87 i used to think the same thing with korn, but it's really the settings on the bass and the detuning that make that sound... i've been playing bass for almost 15 years now... i use similar settings and i actually suck when i use a pick

@abbafire7 I try to get that across to my atheist friends. I was an atheist and really noticed that, of what Jesus did as I read scripture. It is amazing how the Pharisees tried to trap Him but couldn't. What an awesome relationship I have with Jesus Christ now 8-D I find it is a heart issue, they hate God, Romans 1:18-20 I think.

I know this was almost 20 years ago, but listen to [skrillex + Jdavis + computer] and then go back to the self-titled album - It sounds as awesome as in 1994 ! Oh yes, most KORNstep fans weren't even born when "I wrote this song a long time ago a really long time ago in 94 :D"

As a Christian, I can no longer support Brian's music. This music video is so dark, horrific, and filled with anger and violence. How does this praise or uplift God? I understand singing about your pain, but Christian music is suppose to be inspirational. I fear Brian is going back to his Korn lifestyle

@txdave37 i went to a concert of his a couple weeks ago. it was full of worship to the Lord and a bunch of ppl got on stage at the end and accepted Christ, and then Head performed a kick butt song to Gods glory. Hes just a Christian who came up hard before he found God and delivers his message differently then others. He reaches to people that most other Christians can't.

For the most part i never put too much significance on lyrics, but head actually has a good lead voice, and it's obvious to me that he probably did most of the writing in korn, espcially when it came to the riffing

I get goosebumps when I watch Brian rock out with his dreads flying everywhere, it is so metal. Saw him live with RED in Norfolk, VA back in October and loved every second of it. He's a good guy and puts on an amazing show.

The music pretty much sounds like Korn (which isn't a bad thing), and i like JD's voice a little bit better. But the main riff and the breakdown part sound kick ass!

Head was such a key element for Korn with the riffs the band lost there edge when he left he was kind of like the dark side of the band... Munky is good but was more into sound effects than riffs ... PS: notice that K7 guitar :)

@Virgilivs87 i used to think the same thing with korn, but it's really the settings on the bass and the detuning that make that sound... i've been playing bass for almost 15 years now... i use similar settings and i actually suck when i use a pick
