I'm from Louisiana and they don't give the Zeta's the props they deserve. Here they act as if you pledge Zeta you just committed murder. To be honest every step show I've been to they've held it down and thats real. I guess because people are so hooked on AKA's and Delta's they forget the others. Big ups to the Zeta's for real. Since I recorded the show and I saw how they picked the judges...The judges were all random, not everyone was from ATL, and pretty much formed at the event. The judging was not rigged...How it was populated after the fact is a different story

I find it to be quite funny that you would make all these comments under my sorors clip YET said nothing under another org clip that CLEARLY displayed unlady like behavior.... Also, this is a stroll competition NOT a step show, take note there are no formations and did a non-stop stroll around the stage...
With the exception of one sorority everyone else there who entered into the stroll competititon had a more subtle approach.

I attended the Atlanta Greek Picnic and I think that all of the sororities did an excellent job. My sorors came in there ready to compete and won. I would not have felt any differently if another sorority won. Again they all did a great job and I look forward to next year
Aww I like the way that they went back to TEXAS and attempted to do SCARRED. Its okay cause they figured lets go back to 1996 when the strut originated in TEXAS and start off the same way as the AKA'S do....thats okay because they could never SCAR the way we do it in TEXAS. Okay first of all I said the strut originated in 1996 and is still live and strong to this very day. I never spoke about anyone writing the song...I just stated that is the AKA'S strut song in Texas. May God Continue to bless you as well.
Wow. Most orgs have songs that they stroll/strut to in certain regions. This is nothing new. I'm from the SE region. I'm more familiar with the Set It Off strut that's done to Set It Off by Strafe. However, I learned the traditional scarred strut from an AKA from Arkansas. Maybe it was just a huge coincidence that those Zetas prefer to stroll to Scarred and start off the same way as the AKAs do. Who knows? Things can vary by region as well as by chapter.
I knew what these young ladies were talking about, because I myself questioned it when I seen it. Not saying that the Zeta's tried to coyp, but I have seen the AKA's do those moves before. Anyway I have seen AKA's do moves similars to the Zeta's and the same goes for the DST and SGRho's. Search this Zeta Gamma chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha and you will see. It should be the second or thrid video.

This year was a mess. The order in which I like the sororities were Zeta Phi Beta, Sigma Gamma Rho, Alpha Kappa Alpha, and then Delta Sigma Theta. The only sororites that really strutted were ZPB and SGRho. Everything else was pretty much dancing.

Sadly, Greek-show JUDGE CHEATing is a problem,
this happens when a cheating judge scores a team so low that the winning team gets 2nd or 3rd place, the low score gives another step-team a better chance of winning, the cheating is based on personal dislike, not performance.

Since I recorded the show and I saw how they picked the judges...The judges were all random, not everyone was from ATL, and pretty much formed at the event. The judging was not rigged...How it was populated after the fact is a different story

Thats was good my Sorors...wish I would have been there, dang people acting like yall striping on some poles...its just a party hop calm your nerves people. what is sorority life coming too?! we are portraying ourselves as common street walkers! Why has this behavior gone unchecked in chapters? These things you won't see in mine, older Sorors would KILL younger ones!

I find it to be quite funny that you would make all these comments under my sorors clip YET said nothing under another org clip that CLEARLY displayed unlady like behavior.... Also, this is a stroll competition NOT a step show, take note there are no formations and did a non-stop stroll around the stage...
With the exception of one sorority everyone else there who entered into the stroll competititon had a more subtle approach.

Great Job Zetas!! On another note, I am concerned generally about these strolls the sororities are doing.
1. I am NOT feeling this stripper appeal that seems to be going around [up down booty popping etc]
2. and dancing is fine, but ummm, shouldn't you all be slipping some steps in there too?!

I attended the Atlanta Greek Picnic and I think that all of the sororities did an excellent job. My sorors came in there ready to compete and won. I would not have felt any differently if another sorority won. Again they all did a great job and I look forward to next year

Aww I like the way that they went back to TEXAS and attempted to do SCARRED. Its okay cause they figured lets go back to 1996 when the strut originated in TEXAS and start off the same way as the AKA'S do....thats okay because they could never SCAR the way we do it in TEXAS. Creativity never hurts..but imitation is always flattery

I dont have the slightest idea of what you are talking about. If you believe that we copied a stroll that AKA's had in 1996 when we werent even greek yet...then ok...you can believe that. And I didnt know that you and Luke both wrote that Scarred song? What label are you signed to? One thing about Zetas is that we dont hate, we dont blame our shortcomings on others...So what I can say to your comment is....May God Continue to Bless you...

Okay first of all I said the strut originated in 1996 and is still live and strong to this very day. I never spoke about anyone writing the song...I just stated that is the AKA'S strut song in Texas. May God Continue to bless you as well.

Wow. Most orgs have songs that they stroll/strut to in certain regions. This is nothing new. I'm from the SE region. I'm more familiar with the Set It Off strut that's done to Set It Off by Strafe. However, I learned the traditional scarred strut from an AKA from Arkansas. Maybe it was just a huge coincidence that those Zetas prefer to stroll to Scarred and start off the same way as the AKAs do. Who knows? Things can vary by region as well as by chapter.

I knew what these young ladies were talking about, because I myself questioned it when I seen it. Not saying that the Zeta's tried to coyp, but I have seen the AKA's do those moves before. Anyway I have seen AKA's do moves similars to the Zeta's and the same goes for the DST and SGRho's. Search this Zeta Gamma chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha and you will see. It should be the second or thrid video.

Wow....So now sororities focus on taking men from other women? Please keep it mature....No matter what organization your from...Please be mindful of what you say and how you represent your organization. Everyones founders would be rolling in thier graves for some things that occur in our org's. Please rep your org in a tasteful, mature, manner. I give respect when its due, whether its AKA, DST, SGrho, or whatever. Your a woman first before you join an org....Atleast I hope you were.

This year was a mess. The order in which I like the sororities were Zeta Phi Beta, Sigma Gamma Rho, Alpha Kappa Alpha, and then Delta Sigma Theta. The only sororites that really strutted were ZPB and SGRho. Everything else was pretty much dancing.
