@npeacock724 Having everything that I described in an earlier post, I still have a little studdering issues periodically with this game. I think it has something to do with eyefinity because when I'm not running eyefinity, this game runs smooth as hell. Probably having to display it on 3 screens just rocks my PC. Ive gone to ATI's website and updated my grfx cards and still have a few small issues. Eyefinity is a totally different realm of gaming. Youll see... when/if u upgrade to eyefinity ;)

@daxul123 4870x2 in some benchmarks got higher performance, becouse of 2 gigs of ram and the dual gpu, the 5870 has got almost the same results but it doesn't heat that much and it's single gpu card, and it has dx11. when i say almost the same results i mean 5 fps of difference in some games... thats nothing

joeylegacy2000 you wont be able to really play with high settings until you upgrade your cpu, you will get good fps in closed areas but you will for sure need to upgrade your cpu and ram, I just upgraded from a amd x2 5600+ 4gbddr2 800 and a 5770 to a i7 930 6x3gb ddr3 1600 memory and a 5830 and I still cant get more then 30 fps with 1680x1050 4x AA and everything else maxed out, but I can get aroune 27-29 fps. They made this game so it will not be perfect unless you spend a lot of money

Only?!? What the hell... only?!? 1920x1200 with 4x AA, everything on very high.

On my 8600GT I can only get a mix of like medium and high settings at like 800x600 playable, no AA.

Plus I'm still using a Pentium 4, albeit a prescott (HT) 3.2 @ 4 ghz, and 4 GB DDR2 800 mhz RAM @ 1 ghz, same for FSB.

I have that same videocard, and same amount of RAM (older CPU).

Google for C.U.D.A.A.T.S. CCC 2.21 (should be the first link), and download/install it... It will optimize the game for you, makes the game look like Very High details, but performance is more like that of Medium/High details.

If you just turn everything up to "Very High" it will be choppy unless you run it at 1024x768.

BTW, I hope you have Windows Vista or 7! DX10 mode actually runs better in Crysis now. Less memory used.

Specs are the components inside your computer.(Processor, graphics card, ram etc.) Your "specs" have to be good enough to run a game, and the better "specs", the better fps you will get in the game your playing. And Crysis is extremely demanding, and need very good specs to max out and still maintain a stable and playable framerate.

no offense but the fps are not better then my intel E6600 2.4ghz , 6gb ram, win7 64bit, geforce gtx 275 896mb. i set EVERYTHING on the highest possible setting and resolution the max my monitor can handle (1280x1024 no aa)and get ~30-40fps... but then you have it set to "1920x1200 4xAA " :P not bad ;)

The video was made in 2008,and he has 4xAA at 1920x1200, that A LOT of AA for such a resolution...so fail...ANYWHOOO..This game has to be BEAUTIFUL at 1920x1200 with 4xAA..on top of that ur getting some very good frame rates considering u have AA with that res. (not sure why you would even have AA with such a high res.)
