Thanks for the nice comment. Could you maybe post a video of your stove? I've never seen one. I'd like it a lot if you did, and I'm sure so would many others.

  • @algentry1hi mate go on my user name mta798 the video is allready there stove standar 296 is the name of the video i hope you enjoy seeing my video as i liked your video

  • are you burning kerosene in the stove

  • @rufusvanrugburn

Yes sir, I am. I grew up with my Mom using it for heating our house, and all our cooking. I don't mind the smell. It has that nice quality of not flash burning my tent or house down. I try to buy the best kerosene I can get... K-1, they call it, sometimes 1-K. Less hassle with clogging, and I like my camp stoves too much to abuse them.

    Best Regards

  • great little stoves iv had a few over the years i still have a big number 2 and an old parasene ! i now use a primus omnifuel that uses any liquid fuel it was expensive (£110) but well worth the money ! i can see yours is well looked after and in good condition they fetch a good price on ebay !! good to see people still appreciate these old stoves , nice vid + greetings from england

  • John8Ball,

Sometimes they stick. Before you remove the burner tube from the fuel tank, and while things are still as little warm, insert one of the pot support legs through the openings in the burner head. Then give it a firm turn clockwise, so as to break loose the binding parts. If you turn it the other direction, you're just as likely to unscrew the tube, burner head, and all.

    Hope this helps.
