I think it had a potential to be really good (maybe as good or better than SC2).
However it failed in the marketing and the refinement of the game.
Most games are judged on its initial release not its final outcome after succeeding patches.
I think the story line is great. A real aliens perspective where the humans and the world is just the collateral damage (much like how humans take over native or virgin land from weak animals or original early human inhabitants).
well you see this is where the consumer is forced to choose sides.. whether he or she likes it at the moment... ive always been a microsoft fan over sony because of the better action titles and easier playability than sony's offerings, so i dont really have to worry.. however, yes, the exclusiveness part sucks.. which is why im glad i chose the right side :)

Universe at War is designed to be an rts on the computer. Despite being ported to 360 and using Windows Live, it's still primarily an rts. No console will ever have the power of a pc.
ps3 has the power of a pc, and so does 360 idunno' what you're talking about, my ps3 runs yellow dog linux at twice the capability of a power pc running OS designed for multi-core CPU/SPu
yea well I only have ps3 and psp atm, so while this game looks very interesting, they've lost this customer, cause' i'm not shelling out another 500$ for the only decent RTS I've seen in a while, Microsoft shouldn't worry about exclusivity at this point, they should worry whether their third party support is happy being exclusive or not. MS is just making me hate them atm, because I'm stuck with ps3, and they're being ridiculous with their cashbags+exclusives rights.

Exclusivity - system prejudice - and bias, is getting out of hand, i won't buy another system just because it has some games I want... I just shelled out 600 for ps3 and it's better games, so even though i'd like to own and xbox360 i won't and this game loses a customer...

This game is gonna rock, but i'm only gonna get it for PC. I may get it for 360. Bwhahaa i've reserved it already for PC.
