I loved Capt Kirk and Bill Shatner for years. But then I met him in person twice at autographing sessions and on both occassions he was rude to and barely spoke to his fans when they spoke to him (me included). Very different persona than the ones he gives in interviews which took alot of the heart out of my fandom. But Bill will always be Capt Kirk (but Chris Pine also is doing a great job).
