Uck, I had scabies too. Think I got it from my science room at school, transfered by my backpack. Permethrin worked for me, but I have scars ALL OVER my arms and legs from it months after. The Doc. said they'll go away within a year or a year and a half, but I feel like it will take longer. :/
I read that a bath with tea tree oil every night for 15 or so days will cure it.
If it's true that natural remedies prevent scarring, then darn me.
But how cheap that they didn't share them in the video.
Incorrect statement at 1:00. "Only able to exist within a human body for 24-36hrs." This should be "Only able to exist OUTSIDE OF a human body for 24-36 hrs."
@jrg305 Trust me, I know. I had the "hell bugs" disrupting my sleep for 3 months before the 3rd treatment of permethrin worked. The doctors are too cautious in prescribing the second dose, and if they want you to put it neck down, they don't give you enough in the tube for that unless they expect you to be a hairless small female and not a hairy tall adult male.
