I really like this video. but is it just me, or was David Tennant's doctor a bit of a ladies man. He's kissed almost all of his companions (with the exception of Jack. Leave that to the Ninth XD), and The eleventh has had one scene I think. Eleven's a bit of a nutty professor, and Ten's more of a smart James Bond. Both of them are amazing, though!

@dbzfan988- the 1st doctor probably wasnt 855 yrs old coz the show only chronicles the select adventures of the doctor. There are other adventures that take place in the midst (eg- the Canonical novels etc.).

I am the same age as DAvid Tennant so when he talks about growing up with it I know exactly what it was like. Ummmm actually that may not be true any more :D The Time Lords had restricted the amount of regens true but he's that last of them :) so he probably could change the rules. Geni (His daughter) can regen as much as she wants and retain the same face.

umm i actually think (from what i've found out with extensive googling) that time lords do regenerate for a 13th time but it USUALLY kills them

so who know what could happen!!

@Icestar663 Yep! From everything I've learned of the Time Lords, the Females could regenerate infinately and keep the face or form they preferrred or change they're form. The Males could only do 13 regens but the Master killed those in record time and he always comes back. The Doctor being the only Male Time Lord from what we now atm, He could change the rules and regen infinately cause it was him and a few others that made that rule. but hey you're right you never know what'll happen next!

@BlackHedgehog The BBC never made an Eighth Doctor series because it was dependent on the 1996 McGann movie getting good ratings in the USA, and a series being commissioned by an American network with Fox as co-producer. I believe this was the contractual arrangement the BBC entered into with Fox in order for them to co-finance the 1996 TV movie.

As for why "americans did the movie", I assume you are asking why it had American money? Because the BBC wanted co-production financing and US sales.
