I already own two t-rex effects, the dr.swamp and tremster, they're pretty good...anyway, I'm planning to buy an overdrive that could be versatile...can I use the alberta also like a booster with distortion (or fuzz) or do you think a ts would be better?
t rex was too pricey for me to find and to demo. thanks so much for giving me a look at this and several other overdrives i am going to get when i get better and have the money. sounds amazing.
Tasty shit on the licks!
Would you recommend the Alberta, compared to a TS9 or TS808?

Hi BM, your demos are really cool and useful :)

Hey there BM, I often watch your demos...great job! Loved this one, surely the Alberta sounds fantastic with your Tele!
I was wondering what tubes/speakers do you have in your amp!?
I plan to modify my Blues Junior, cause when I try to get some dirty sounds from it, it's too much muddy for me! Any useful advice?
Rock on!

@frenzexperiment Hey Marco, thanks for the kind words, sir. :)
Tubes - Svetlana EL34's. Speakers - Original 1968 Celestion Greenbacks (a little rare these days but the reissues aren't bad at all).
I've never owned a Blues Junior so I'm probably the wrong person to ask - sorry!
Cheers,
BK

what brand are your cables?
teddypuppet505 1 year ago
@teddypuppet505 The cables in this clip are Neutrik/Mogami custom made for me by my tech. I now use Providence cables which are better still.

this or the mudhoney ii? such a difficult decision!
Rizo619 1 year ago
@Rizo619
Depends on what you want. The Mudhoney is grittier and, in Boost mode, a lot more fuzzy and nasty.

@jb1563700 I've already got a Keeley modded TS808 so I guess I'd be better off going for the Mudhoney, just as it gives me something more different.

man i can't make up my mind between this and the moller.
