On a POSITIVE NOTE, this is a kool video. i cant get ANY game to run that smoothly, and thats.... WoW. I'm trying to play WoW on my 900HA, but i keep getting a connection timeout on my launcher.

thank you the reply, i believe it may also be possible to get a little more power out of it through dedicated overclocking as appose to the performance mode it allows, im also thinking of lowering windows color quality as well to get as much out of it as possible >;D

and now that i think of it, upgrade the ram, see if theres lower latency version of the ram, make a special installation of windows just to play wow so no other background programs take power from it, idk...i want this laptop so bad......fir the price it will be great for idk, grinding and whatever else

i was going to buy this laptop (and no i will not call it a 'netbook', that's not even a technical term...its an irritating marketing ploy...any way...) and i didn't even think it could load wow without crashing....but to see it at playable speeds (to me) is incredible, but i have a question, what are the wow graphics settings at? like terrain detail view distance and resolution and all that? please respond i must know...i want this laptop...

Everything is at bare minimum (beyond that infact, as shown in the description) with the exception of the resolution, which is running native (1024x600) you could probably squeeze a few more frames out of it if you lowered it to 800x600, but I personally don't like how bad it makes it look that way.

Amazing video, the only one ive found with a netbook (eee pc etc) playing WOTLK they are all TBC. But you didnt show northrend!! I am really interested to know if it can handle northrend. I know you dont have a subscription now so do you think an Eee pc 1000H/900HA could run in northrend with decent fps (playable). Also I saw you can overclock the 900HA can you also overclock the 1000H.

Northrend runs about 5-7fps slower... depending on your standards it can be considered playable or not. Yes the 1000H can also be overclocked and since its a larger device its also probably safer... go on eeeuser dowt com and search the eee 1000 forums on how to overclock

Easy... doesn't need a video.

Exit SuperHybridEngine.

Run SetFSB, Set your pll to ICS9LPR427AGLF.

Click Get FSB.

Check the ultra box.

Push your slider to 166.6mhz.

Click setFSB.

This will make it go to 2.0Ghz. If it acts funny, you might want to lower it to 1.9 or 1.8ghz.

Well I don't have a WoW subscription anymore but I found out how to get an additional 300mhz of CPU power so I bet I could get it running even smoother now (you can overclock up to around 2.0ghz with setfsb)

It has speakers on the bottom of the unit. They aren't bad at all, they go pretty loud and everything. I think it was up about 1/5th in the video...

How have you tweaked things on your 9000HA? I also have a 900HA but upgraded the RAM to 2gb. I play on 800 by 600 with every single setting on minimum and I get a steady 15fps. How is yours pulling 30FPS in Origrimmar? I must know please! Thanks!

sorry i never got around to explaining how. launch wow type the following things into chat: /console showlowdetail 0 /console smallcull 1 /console characterAmbient 1 /console detailDoodadAlpha /console groundEffectDensity 16 /console groundEffectDist 1 /console skycloudlod 1 /console farclip 177 these settings should remain persistent unless u edit ur video settings with the video options. u can also add these manually: C:/program files/World of warcraft/WTF/config.wtf
