  • i am here because i did not want to be the one to go down there and get shot at

  • Great photo compilation!

  • “If you want a Master and Commander sequel I suggest you e-mail Tom Rothman at Fox and let him know your thoughts”.

    Russell Crowe,quoted in December 2010.

  • Oh!!

  • By the way, BWRC, Google Translate gives 'moo' as one meaning but the others (as I suspected) are 'bellow' and 'boom'. Also you have 'nostalgy' which is not English. Too late to change it to 'bellows' and 'nostalgia'?

  • Good golly, really? As someone that writes songs (and poems, occasionally), I would certainly have advised a different word than that in any language! My soul moos -- oh yes, many a time has my soul mooed! A ludicrous note/word in an otherwise thoughtful, dramatic, and highly evocative song.

  • Absolutely beautiful. The translation of 'my soul moos' cannot possibly be right, though -- surely it's 'calls out' or something like that.

  • @amandajstar thanks. And the translation is literal from the Spanish verb "mugir" (to moo)

  • Can anyone please let me know if Russell really did play the violin the way he did in the movie, or was that just staged? :)

    Thank you!

  • @TheGuider yep, he did it. Haven't you watched the extras in the M&C dvd? You can see his rehearsals. ;-)

  • @bwrc Thanks :)

Didn't have the chance to watch the extras unfortunately :(

  • @TheGuider What are you waiting for? Run to watch them! They are fantastic! :-D

  • @bwrc As soon as I get the chance ;)

  • Do you know where I can buy this cd, o conoso por donde, yo puedo comprar esta cd?

  • it´s great

  • I love this brilliant, beautiful man! <3

  • OMG...

  • Love It!

  • Very well done...I've read that Russell Crowe threatened to walk off the set of "Master and Commander" when he learned the ship was to be destroyed at the end of the film....here's hoping he sails on her again....
