@80sspirit4ever Para mí las películas de barcos y navegación son de mis géneros favoritos, desde las clásicas como El temible burlón hasta ésta, por supuesto. Ah, y MC anda a primeros del S. XIX, en las guerras napoleónicas.... ;-)
@bwrc Las peliculas epicas o historicas me encantan, si puedira elegir una epoca en la cual vivir creo que seria en la edad media. Peliculas como: corazon valiente, juana de arco, troya, gladiador, Alejandro son verdaderas joyas para mi.
By the way, BWRC, Google Translate gives 'moo' as one meaning but the others (as I suspected) are 'bellow' and 'boom'. Also you have 'nostalgy' which is not English. Too late to change it to 'bellows' and 'nostalgia'?
Good golly, really? As someone that writes songs (and poems, occasionally), I would certainly have advised a different word than that in any language! My soul moos -- oh yes, many a time has my soul mooed! A ludicrous note/word in an otherwise thoughtful, dramatic, and highly evocative song.
Very well done...I've read that Russell Crowe threatened to walk off the set of "Master and Commander" when he learned the ship was to be destroyed at the end of the film....here's hoping he sails on her again....
for lvcivs11: I just refer to the title "Hispanico" Russel Crowe got in the Gladiator and the "Hispanic" songs bwrc put on this video!!!!!! No matter about sea battles and history of England and Spain. Take it easy mate. Anyway I'm not Spanish. Bye Bye.
hes a bullheaded norman and saxon commander stupid like me the spanish are noble but they r our enemies for mates and resources they have been this past age farewell u spanish ladies farewell and adieu u ladies of spain for weve received orders to sail to old england we hope in a short time to see u again

“If you want a Master and Commander sequel I suggest you e-mail Tom Rothman at Fox and let him know your thoughts”.

Oh!! Mar antiguo de El Último de la Fila.
Creo que era el último lugar en el que me la esperaba encontrar.
Gran película, gran canción

Absolutely beautiful. The translation of 'my soul moos' cannot possibly be right, though -- surely it's 'calls out' or something like that.

@amandajstar thanks. And the translation is literal from the Spanish verb "mugir" (to moo)

Can anyone please let me know if Russell really did play the violin the way he did in the movie, or was that just staged? :)
Thank you!
