No, I judge and QUESTION his MINDSET on Black Women, and more importantly the racist sexist dominant worldview that it PLAYS INTO, and how many impressionable people just mindlessly chant along with the lyrics. Name the conscious content Luda has rhymed and ask yourself IS IT CONSISTENT??????
Then he used the terminology BEEF smh. Black men have BEEF with black woman? U must think rap is gay or racist, just say it then. These artist make these songs so they can take care of their daughters, wives, mothers and everyone seems to understand its business and entertainment except losers who have nothing better to do but slander rich rappers. Hope u learn something old fool.
"if being conscious sold, truth be told, lyrically I'd be Talib Kwali" -Jay-z... So It fascinates me that rocking chair superstars can't understand why these artist make certain songs AND the most logical theory they can come up with is black men hate black woman??? It's music to party to not judge lyrical u moron. If u don't like it don't listen SIMPLE, maybe Luda entire fanbase is hoes.. How da fck would u know?

Trying again:1)NOT EVERYONE in the hood is doing dumb shit; let's stop that bullshit excuse; 2)Ludacris, Rick Ross, and cats like that ARE NOT HIP-HOP; they are rap - KNOW THE DIFFERENCE; 3)Min Paul Scott calling out Luda is an example of HOLDING OUR PEOPLE ACCOUNTABLE - learn to do that, youngbloods; 4)Yes, the gov't is problematic - WHEN HASN'T IT BEEN? What are WE doing to FIX THINGS? If there's some Black folks designing a black currency, look me up - I love to draw. SERIOUS inquiries only.

First of all, with all due respect, we need to realize that ,"Do Something Strange", is NOT HIP HOP-it's that corporate-created, imbecile-supported imposter stepchild called rap. If it ain't about the culture or the elements of Hip Hip, it ain't Hip Hop. Second, just because there are some of our people in the hood, doesn't justify the whole bs rationale of, "well I'm from the hood, therefore I'm prone to do x,y, and z idiotic acts". That's dishonest. Why? Because NOT EVERYONE in the hood is wi
I feel what you are saying about the economic times we are in and how it makes this particular song distasteful, but if your government are not doing nothing or feel any responsibility towards single mothers, (the people elected to deal with your problems), then how do you expect Ludacris, a self made rich man to do so.
You need to get on the gov't to shape up. It's your taxes that run the system, so they should be doing what you, the electorate want, not the other way round.
I understand what you are saying but don't you think you are addressing the wrong audience. Luda has songs, where he talks about women but not in a disrespecful way. He also has songs where he does that. Like you illustrated earlier, some women are like that and some are the opposite.
I think the problem is we try to loop all women in one basket, when it comes to female issues. We need to let women realise that we recognise different type of women according to their actions. If a women acts a certain way then she will be addressed and treated as such. Same way men are judged by their actons and will be termed a loser, a bum, a scrub, a dog, or whatever term according to their actions.

So you judge Ludacris based on a few songs? He's made NUMEROUS songs where he speaks on real issues affecting black people and women.

hip hop only reflects it's Parenting & Environment . 98.9% of hip hop artists are from the hood or poor settings, and their music reflects that...
The same reason why some blk men say 'ni@@a' is the same reason why some blk men call women 'b!tches'...
