Very nice. Es is quite rare at times like 0300, but it seems Canada was unusually common for such off-hour Es (I'm in Michigan) Wish I taped more of my DX back then, especially the morning CFSS was in - repeating WMAQ, WEWS and WNEM by Es as intended source CKOS was off the air

I noticed the same thing about late-night and early-morning Es. I've had WESH Orlando, KPRC Houston, and KENW Portales many times over the years, but never overnight. Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia were the only overnighter I ever got.

Yes, all 5 of my videos were captured using a normal roof antenna and a VCR. Google the "E-skip" phenomenon for more on how.

Yes. This was recorded on my own VHS VCR tuned to Channel 2, about 30 miles south of Chicago.

I remember seeing a test pattern with a time thing at the bottom right of it on some Blank VHS Tapes instead of static. Does anyone remember what i'm talking about?
