However, being a successful comedian is difficult.

The entertainment industry and politics are the toughest career paths to succeed in. At least that's what I believe. lol!

My mother is a teacher and I know so many people who get teaching jobs right out of college. Not that hard.

I doubt that it's easy to run for president of the U.S. considering how much competition there is. Not all politicians are elitists.

LOL! You are too funny! Thousands of thousands compete to make it on Broadway, it has a huge fanbase and The Tony Awards is a huge, telecast award show for Broadway shows. Heck, people around the globe dream of either seeing or being in a Broadway show.

Broadway survived The Great Depression. The only thing that changed was the style of the shows; they went from operettas to comedic, yet sentimental musicals.

For LB, it wasn't the bad economy. LB was doing poorly at the box office. Because the ticket sales were so poor, they decided to have MTV broadcast the show. Their motive was to make the viewers interested enough to see it live. Despite that broadcast, LB was still doing poorly at the box office and their last plan was to do an MTV reality show, searching for the next Elle Woods. It garnered viewers, but a lot of people were upset that Autumn H. lost, which turned them off from seeing the show.

I thought that it would have had great ticket sales b/c of the popularity of the movie. I LOVE the movie, but I was disappointed with the musical adaptation, although it had a GREAT cast and some good songs.

I think that the tour will do very well, though. It's more convenient when the show comes to you, rather than traveling to NYC. lol!
