It does work and looks great! ...but you can not just roll it on a wall like regular wall paint, it is not a regular wall paint, it leaves a slightly textured or heavily stippled finish when you roll it on a wall properly. You have to follow the directions and lay it on heavy with the special roller. Work in sections as the directions state and put it on heavy to keep the wet edge (keeping a wet edge will eliminate lap marks).
Spent a fortune on this metallic paint. They (HD) knew the application and said it should look really nice. Lap marks do not go away. Several coats later I gave up.
Sorry Pat, but this paint should be pulled from the shelves or specific warnings posted on its use. Maybe it's OK for accent stripes or 2x2 pieces of drywall, but no one should ever attempt to paint a wall or ceiling with this junk. Theres no possible way to avoid horrid lap marks that completely ruin the metallic finish. After 3 gal & $140 worth of paint. tools etc...I have thrown in the towel on this product
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY... Just use regular paint and a metallic glaze.
@meman45 I was thinking of mixing half of the silver base with a mint green and doing a faux linen finish. Do you think it would work for something like that?

You have to use a special martha stewart roller to avoid the roller marks.

@sjh012055 I'd try it on an old piece of wall board first

Probably the worst-looking faux finish I've ever seen.
