I saw this movie in tenth grade! All the students were cheering on this part at 2:14 when Ted stands up to his mom and defends Rose! He like telling his mom that Rose is HIS queen and she not coming between them no matter what! Rose is clearly surprised by this act of courage on his part. Just watch her facial expression at 2:14! Ha! :)

The truth is, having a Asian friend does not automatically make you an expert in Asians or Asian culture no matter how much you have deluded yourself.
