I couldn't understand most of the rap lyrics, but could you please explain why you didn't keep the original meaning of the song?

It's about a school shooting, and suddenly I hear about the general self boasting rap lyrics like being unique and don't care about the haters or whatever.

The kid didn't wouldn't have shot all those other kids if he felt that way, he obviously felt pretty depressed or angry.

(Sorry if this comment is misplaced, like I said, I couldn't understand most of it)

It's mostly just spilled out there without a soul... for rap to be great it needs to melt with the background and not stand out on it's own making the background better than the actual rapping. I also think you were rapping too fast. Being fast does not equal good. Listen to Pipe Dreams by Ground Up for a good example imo.

There's no rule to say that FTP's hook has to mean the same thing to me as it does to them or other listeners. It's all about perception. I made this simply because I wanted to. I like the beat, thought I had a decent message to say and it sounded nice to me. I make for music myself so technically it is my own music. You chose to listen.
