So there was this crazy party at my ESTATE last night, which was located next to a TERMINAL, in AFGHAN, just 10 miles from a local QUARRY. Everyone was totally wasted. The place was like a SCRAPYARD. I wonder why the .44 mag has more damage than the Desert Eagle? Unless the Desert Eagle is in .357. They do make the Desert Eagle in .44 mag. They don't bother to list the caliber...hell, for all practical purposes, it could be a .50AE. It must be the .50...it holds 7 rounds, so in which case...the Desert Eagle should have more damage than the .44 mag!

@firestream93 You're forgetting the fact that the .44 Magnum is a revolver. A gun being a revolver automatically (pun) makes it better than another gun with the same technical abilities.

Applies to real life, too.

@RevolverPhantom It's cool. A revolver is a good gun to have, I have two. I just prefer an automatic because it holds more ammo and it's easier to reload. There's draw-backs to a revolver and an automatic...but it's just the preference of the owner. Take care.

@firestream93 the reason is that in cod4 the desert eagle was INSANELY overpowered. so IW just powered it down. and basically replaced it with the .44 Magnum. same thing with all cod4 weapons basically.

@SandOprods Well, depending on what caliber the Desert Eagle was in, would be why it would be powerful. It comes in .357, 44 Magnum, and .50 AE. I don't buy the whole "watered" down thing with the weapons. I know of a few weapons in the game, that seemed to have been "enhanced". I just think the developers did a poor job when it came to actual weapons research.
