Millions of poor people are slaving themselves while the communist cadres live on their blood and sweat, but deliberately lied about how people love each other and that there is no hunger but just happiness. at 2:15 is the current US consulate in HCMC. I have been there many times. My wife too. We are actually going there next week for our last time to pick up my wife and son's american visas. Then we are heading to america. My family will finally meet my vietnamese wife and children for the first time in person. Been living here in Vietnam for the past 3 years. Cant wait to get back to america. Even though the economy sucks.

The old land, some old and new people, new building, new houses mix with old HUD, new city name. it is new look. any ways, after killed millions innocent, the Vietcong owned every thing. the loose is Vietnamese who is bully by communist polices or Vietnamese communist governors who took vietnamese's land then sell to the foreign people. who owns properties in Vietnam is murders or support murders who is the vietcong, who is fellows of china.
So many videos on hcmc concentrate on the traffic or just one tourist attraction. So it's nice to see someone put a bit of effort into what they shoot and for how long. As a result, this is one of the best videos I've seen on HCMC. Nice well paced. Good editing...nice job...well done
@siliconsurf I think it is very long time you don't go to SGN, because there are traffic lights everywhere. I don't know which kind of damn high rises do you mean.....I always drive motobike there and never had one small problem.

I just came back from Vietnam and think this is a decent video of Ho Chi Minh city. I was lucky that I have a Vietnamese girlfriend so I didn't need to go on any tour buses. I was able to tour a great deal of HCMC on scooter (not for the faint of heart) and with her family and friends. I do miss the city over there, makes coming home a bit boring.

Authoritarian and communist Vietnamese government will SOON fall just like Tunisia and Egypt.
