In my opinion she played this movement better then Kempff as it was played much quicker than Kempff played it which gave it that windy feeling. Like a tempest . Very Expressive. Well done!
Okay I take back what I said after listening to this Sonata various versions all night long practically. For my taste this is one of the best ones I found.
Yes, it starts off really fast and then after about 30 seconds or so settles to a slower pace. Slower than most other pianists play it, but personally I prefer it played at this slightly slower pace, it allows the listener to pick up each note more clearly. I myself would play it at this speed (when/if I get around to learning it!). Overall I thought it was a really nice performance - good job.
Well Kempff plays better than all others in my opinion, however that doesn't mean she didn't do a great job, i'm hoping to play this one day.. might wanna learn to read notes.. xD
amazing sonata, one of my favorite beethoven's piece, have you seen barenboims interpretation?, you can make it even better if you work out the dinamic and expression a little more,...congratulations !!

Outstanding, precise. Like if Bach played Beethoven. Please see van Gennip for what might be a bit over emotional version equally good technically. Somewhere in between.

Terrific. The people have voted and compare this to G. Gould. 'Go and wipe your shoulders off.' But hit the accent notes harder and hold while playing a tad faster.

Excellent! I would remove some of the stacato in certain areas and smooth it out. I would also speed it up a bit more... but that is all personal taste and interpretation. Probably because I like Glen Gould's playing of this movement. Hey anway, you are obviously very talented and I enjoy listenning to your playing. Keep up the good work.

very, very nice!! I agree with some people that it could use a bit of variation when it comes to dynamics and lacks a little in the emotion, but only slightly. Play it with your eyes closed and feel the piece, getting lost in it and letting it control your movements somewhat like a leaf being moved about in an ocean.

A great performance, only I can make a remark. I think that the only weak point of that interpretation is the dynamics. I think that the cause of the lack of the expression I prefer with Beethoven sonatas.
