How & why was your daughter taken. Is this a Family Court issue? Did the child's biological father just snatch her from you? Did the authorities come and remove her from your home? Was she taken from school? Does the child's biological father have legal custody? Is it full custody or joint? Are there abuse allegations? I'm not passing judgment but these details are important to develop effective strategies to help you.

from Angeline "There was a long history of domestic violence committed against me by the father. I wrote a letter to the Judge and filed a grievance against the law guardian and as punishment to me they just gave her to him. We have told this to the new Judge that it was retaliation and all he does is adjourn the case two months at a time. I know this may sound crazy but this is the truth and for me and my daughter it is a reality nightmare."

It's strange that you haven't received any information on your daughter's whereabouts. I don't know much about the legal system just yet, but isn't this against the law?

From Angeline "Even more strange is that on more than four occasions on record the Law Guardian stated she had no contact information for my daughter. The father has given an address to the courts that is to remain anonymous but to date the home assessment has not been done, this is now 151 days that my daughter's safety and home environment have not been assessed and to top it all off I was ordered to pay half of the fee for the father's home assessment. it's not legal at all!"
