so many of these songs bring tears because I am a father, and I never had a mother or father...so it makes me bring out the feelings that I have for my kids and greatful that I can give my kids what I never had..

His biggest fear was that his son would forget his daddy. And ever since he got back little man has been right at his side. My brother would do anything for him, i look up to him in a new way now.

He disappeared out of their life for almost two years, it ripped my heart in two how things went from being called dad to my step dad sam. I thought the heartbreaks stopped when I found the woman I loved and married her. Still got the oldest, hes 14 now and if you ask about his dad, he points to me, theres at least one that is old enough to understand.
Me and my boyfriend had been together only a couple weeks when I got pregnant with our baby. We ended up aborting it because we knew we couldnt have one yet... but I know if we had kept it he would have made a fantastic daddy... this song is like me and my oldest nephew hes going to be four in february and I'm like a daddy to him and the sad thing is he can count on me being there then his actual daddy who has another son who i also take care of and i love them both so much .

i miss my dad...he left when I was 14....I havnt talked to him in over 3 years...I miss him. I wonder if he ever felt this way about his children.
