@brothermanhum Your right. This is just Oliver Stone saying Nixon didn't bow to his right wing base and told them off.  This did happen without a meeting as President Nixon went on to found the EPA, take us off the gold standard, and do a lot of things that were considered left wing.

Exactly Brownie. Very few of us know at this point, as the relevance of the JFK murder fades into irrelevancy with younger generations fed only government propaganda. The scene depicted here is a revist of Clint Murchinsen's ranch party on the eve of 11/21/1963. Everybody that was anybody was there or Dealy Plaza, e.g. Gen Lansdale, GHW Bush, E H Hunt.
