i think it would be like comparing a marathon to a sprint race. soccer is non stop yes, but the game is played at a much slower pace. if you played football at that pace with no pauses you would burn out way fast. I've played both, soccer for 7 years, football for 4.
And 90 minutes of soccer playing midfield is much harder physically and mentally then 4 quarters of football.
Their is only one stoppage and non stop running. For football, you just get more bruises, im only sore after football games, after soccer, im sore and completely warn out.
There is nothing to football, you just get in front of someone and block while one guy runs with the ball, or while someone throws it and someone catches it. I mean, if you got muscles like all those fucks in the NFL,its not very hard. All you get from football is bruises. Football is more physical, but you must have never played a full soccer game if you think Football is mentally tougher than Soccer.
Also, in Football, you have plays, I mean, if someone can't follow a step such as go through that hole, then they're stupid. In Soccer, you get tired as hell, and run about 7 miles a game. you have to use your brain on what to do next. In football, just find someone and hit them. Controlling a soccer ball is probably harder then the whole Football game itself. I don't know what else, fuck,

football as in americas version is mroe improv if u wanna call it that than soccer is in my opinion.... no matter what ur never sure of what ur gonna do because ur always uip against somebody changing and me being a running back i know i have to change my plans atleats 5 or 6 times depending on how long the play lasts... and i do agree soccer is mroe endurance but hell ive gotten 3 concussion a broken ankle, a torn mcl, and about 4 broken fingers in my 11 years of football so its more physical

i think it would be like comparing a marathon to a sprint race. soccer is non stop yes, but the game is played at a much slower pace. if you played football at that pace with no pauses you would burn out way fast. I like both sports, but i like Football more because of the use of hands, feet, and of course CONTACT! =)

They are about even in speed though, for almost all football players can run a 40 m dash in under 4.5 seconds

Soccer is a lot more talent than American Football. I've played both, and soccer is a sport that requires reaction, bursts of speed, and endurance. Football is pretty much chase after the ball, throw the ball, get in front of someone to block them. While in soccer, it's all about talent, positioning, and best of all, it's a classy world sport. Unlike football, in which fat asses on the offensive line think they are athletes. GET REAL!!

I've played both, soccer for 7 years, football for 4.
And 90 minutes of soccer playing midfield is much harder physically and mentally then 4 quarters of football.
Their is only one stoppage and non stop running. For football, you just get more bruises, im only sore after football games, after soccer, im sore and completely warn out.
Both awesome sports though.

There is nothing to football, you just get in front of someone and block while one guy runs with the ball, or while someone throws it and someone catches it. I mean, if you got muscles like all those fucks in the NFL,its not very hard. All you get from football is bruises. Football is more physical, but you must have never played a full soccer game if you think Football is mentally tougher than Soccer.

In Soccer, you get tired as hell, and run about 7 miles a game. you have to use your brain on what to do next. In football, just find someone and hit them.
