I Felt Like The Lead Singer In Street Corner Symphony Was Very Self Loving And Conceded Especially With That "I Don't Care" Look On His Face! I Mean Gosh Dude Lots Of People Would LOVE To Be In Your Place At least Act Like You Care!
@codelow9 Ummm I have grown to know Jeremy quite well......partied with him many times.....that is soooooooooo far from what he is like! He is the nicest guy you could meet and is having fun and thrilled at the doors this has opened! Check out his solo CD The Bed You Made.
My favorite season of the 3 shows is still no. 2! 1 was meh, 2 was amazing, 3 was very, very close to 2 but not quite there for me. Still, my favorite groups from all 3 seasons are Committed, OTR, SCS, Vocal Point, and Pentatonix. I also loved a few others, but those are my all time favorites. (Afro-Blue, Dartmouth Aires, The Whiffenpoofs, and Backbeats were all great).
I never watched this show before and I'm killing myself for it. The first time I saw them was when they had the group singing on Ellen. I noticed Jeremy and made it my mission to find out what group he was in because I loved his voice so much. SCS turned out to be my favorite out of all the groups. I don't see why Committed was sch a big deal. I always felt like there was something missing from their performances. There were a few I liked, but only 1 or 2 I actually loved.
theres no way these groups can beat season 3 groups, they were good but come on, penatonix, afro-blue, dartmouth aires, delilah, urban method, it was like an all star game
Pentatonix=Meh. Have yet to hear something particularly impressive by them other than lets get it on, and the key that thats in is too low. Sorry if you wanna crucify me because of that.
I LOVE SCS! they were amazing and they definately shouldve demolished committed in votes. i still believe it was rigged. (no offense to any committed fans but SCS was better)
What about Jerry Lawson & Talk of the Town?? They were AMAZING!!! The way they sang Satisfaction was incredible! And House of the Rising Sun DAAAAMN! I think they should've gone at least 3rd...
@nirvix JL & Tof T DID Those doo-wop songs that were already a cappella songs. Part of the challenge is turning songs that have instruments into songs that don't. They took the easy route too many times. I thoroughly enjoyed them, but there was more talent elsewhere. But I don't think Committed should have won, either. Backbeats were better, and Street Corner Sym. should have won.
@TheSoSoAgnostic committed and street corner sym are the two best groups ever on that show. Hands down. There are very few groups that a had a combination of great harmony, rythm, vocalists, control, and creativity on that show. Many groups had a lot of antics, gimmickery, and sound effects (like pentatonix) but few had the pure singing and musical talent of those two groups. It's not even close, in my opinion.
@Janetta92993 I didn't get Committed at all. I thought they should have gone after "Apologize." The harmonies were largely missing. SCS was the best. Creep was great. I still think "Fix You" was the best song ever on here, and better than Coldplay's, but of course that turned into a group song.
What you guys are missing, is this list is opinionated, it's probably not going to match you because everyone is entitled to their own opinion and it's usually not the same. Regardless, all of these songs put a smile on my face, so good job crab :)
ive known this group for years now, and i have seen the original by them, and i think the time givin in this show is to few to give the full potential
I disagree, and I can't believe that you left out "Cooler Than Me" by Groove For Thought and "House Of The Rising Sun" by Jerry Lawson and Talk Of The Town, both definitely top 5 performances. And I think personally that Kyrie was a better performance for OTR.
mmmmm... i don't know, OTR's bad romance was good, but I don't think it was the top spot, I mean when you had performances like This Love and Apologize by Commited (last one you didn't put it i don't know why) you know that those performance are the best just by hearing it. But everyone has their own taste right?...
@Idolfancom Season 3 doesn't even have as good a groups as season 2. I mean, the only good groups in season 3 are Afro Blue, Yellowjackets, and Delilah right now. And they are nothing compared to Street Corner Symphony, Committed, The Backbeats, Jerry Lawson and Talk of the Town, On the Rocks, and Groove for Thought. It's just disappointing...
I think my favorite of the show was "Breakeven" by the Backbeats. I noticed that they started playing the song more on the radio after this performance too...haha :-)
On The Rocks made my night! :p

fix you by scs was not on the list?!
pencileraser08 2 weeks ago
You screwed this up for five reasons:
1. "This Love" was at #2 when it should have been #1.
2. "Bad Romance" should have been at #3, while "Hey Soul Sister" should not have been on the list to begin with.
3. You had the wrong medley on the list. You had Lady Gaga medley, when you should have had the Usher medley on there.
4. In reference to Part 1, Pitchslapped should not have been on there at all.
5. "I Want it That Way" should have been on there instead of "Good Girls Gone Bad."

Very appropriate to have 3 of Street Corner's performances in the top 10 BUT.....how could you not include Fix You?????????

The fact that Street Corner didn't win is one of the biggest travesties in singing competition history.

This didn't even include Commited's version of "Apologize", which was by far the best performance of the entire season. :(

"Down On the Corner" was amazing!
I can't say I liked "Hey Soul Sister" so much, sadly.
"Bad Romance" was probably the most pleasing to watch and listen to, together.
