you know one thing that baffles me about guitar is that most post begginer musicians play songs faster to show off til they learn a song is at a certain pace for a reason and is more beautiful that way, but alot of guitarist dont, they play as loud and as fast as they can to the point where they forsake all melody and just arpegiate chords at lightining speed but they are conidered guiar geneuses. im just saying yjm can play 10'000 notes and not get the feeling B.B. king does with 3 notes.

@gtnick314 Still, hes fast and good, and B.B king couldn't play at this speed why? he doesn't want too, same reason this guy plays it fast its nothing to be baffled about. Mainly people go faster to make it challenging so you can improve not just stay in a box like B.B king. Having the ability to play faster widens your scope of what you can play when you want it. But yes fast playing isn't eveything.

His Technique is flawless, I'll give him that. However, I agree with whoever said this is supposed to be played slowly. It's sad music and when you add an upbeat tempo to it, it clashes. This is different than just my opinion though, the tempo is flat out wrong. The beat in the background is in 4/4 time signature which is like an upbeat poppy tempo. The guitar part is in 4/6 which is a more drawn out, hypnotizing riff. All in all, technical mechanics, incorrect composure.

I can actually elaborate on how good this guy is. The fretting hand he did a mixture of rising and falling legato licks, and he did that mostly without picking. It's also kinda hard to get the timing for the tapping part with the picking hand. The constant change of position is something to also take into account, and from what I heard this guy sounded very good. I'm not saying there weren't any mistakes, but I honestly didn't notice any.

There are thousands of versions of the prelude in slow tempo and that's good and there are many experimental versions that show you how it would sound played in a different way. there's nothing wrong with it. Just because you don't like it, it doesn't mean that it's not good. Just stay with your sad versions.

I couldn't have said it any better, RyuBlade1980. There are many ways that you can play different songs, like the song "Layla", by Eric Clapton. He has an upbeat rock version and a slow soothing version, and both versions sound great. With this it's much the same principle.

Good technique, very clean and precise. However the beat in the background is not in the same time signature as what he's playing. If you notice each arpeggio starts off at a different part of the beat. The beat sounds like its in 4/4 and the guitar part sounds like its in 6/4. I'm not positive on those time signatures though.
