The teacher wasn't the greatest,actually was pretty bad, but she did make an attempt to teach the importance of elections and having valid reasons for a vote. It's never too early to teach about the importance of voting. What she said was true at the time, in terms of where the candidates stood. But she let her bias show. Ironic that Obama hasn't changed anything...

Actually, the national debt began to go up towards the end of Carters administration,. It was during both Regan and Bush Sr's administration that the debt started going up again. By the end of the Bush Sr's administration the debt was at levels that had not been seen since Ike was in office.
The first year or two of the Clinton administration saw an increase, tapered off, then it began to go down until Bush Jr. became president, in which it began to rise again.

Actually, if you check the national debt info on the gov website, you'll see that bush actually increased the debt by 4 trillion over 8 years, however Obama has increased the debt another 4.5 trillion in only two years.
I was surprised when I saw the numbers.
Fact is that We have incurred more debt in 2 years with Obama than we did in 8 years with Bush.
Just go look up the numbers on the Treasury Direct website (run by the US Department of the Treasury). It's insane.

And what class is this? Not only are the kids rightfully unaware of politics (and unable to see political BS), but her reasoning was abysmal, like telling a kid his or her dad could be in a war for 100 years (even if, for the sake of argument, it did last that long). She also failed to ask him what the parents said at home about the war. In so many ways she's so dumb that I can believe she was idiotic enough to do this for the cam (or this is faked).

Hmm, she wasnt too bad, but that was kinda crossing the boundaries between adult (teacher) and child. Its also a bit more intimidating when an adult does that...if adults are going to set boundaries between an appropriate for a child to speak to an adult it should go the same way for vice versa, (it should be more formal thn what was in this video)

This so called teacher should be fired and her teaching certificate withdrawn. She has no business whats so ever to try to influence her students either way about a presidential or any election. She certainly showed her biased views and that is something a teacher should NEVER bring into a classroom. She is a disgrace to the teaching profession.
