i personally think that UNIGINE is probably a Engine for people that dont have the computing power to be able to run CryEngine well enough

@ninja1507 i had no clue when i posted that but yeah its all good if you have 100K, but a better choice would be Unity 3D, theres a free version and your games can be exported as a .exe where'as cryengine cant unless you have alot of money and unity is catching up to cryengine in terms of graphic's

@Pigeon1080 actually we moved to unity about 3 months ago. we were using gamecore (Which while its a good engine, its still buggy). But our Game-In-Development uses unity. but unfortunately we can't afford any of the bigger players (Crytek CryEngine3, Gamebyro, etc...)

nice demo, I think Crysis has the edge, but this is still a nice engine, now if they can come up with an editor like the Unreal team Epic, or even Crysis editor, then it may just do well, but there is a lot of stiff opposition that is frankly much better.

It's still in development, but I think that an editor will be announced during 2010.

But the best thing I like about this engine is that it runs not only on windows, but on linux and macos too.

But you know what...I believe in Unigine...there's got to be something as an alternative for the common angines such as Source, Cry Engine, GameBryo and IDtech4...they are all too expensive for what they offer

Fraps Slows my E8400 all the time.

But you got to remember,That CPU has to capture 30 frames every sec,and put them on the HDD,Thats a lot of work,Knowing that every frame is like 5mb.

all we need is faster sata drives. all my video playback is 60fps in order to do that fraps slows down everything at least by half in terms of FPS. having faster hdd would fix it
