Asian carp have better taste and texture and less bones then salmon , trout , base , and better taste then cat fish ..they taste like Tilapia except much bigger and less bones .. in asian these fish sell higher price then other fishes.. if we develop economy value for these fishes.. they will be gone in no time... but once its gone fish farm will be start to farming them .. so either way .. they going to stay..

I believe Asian carp are 14 cents on the pound, guys net and sell 10,000 lbs a day!

ALL areas of the US and Canada, that allow spearing or Bow hunting of coarse fish (suckers, carp ect) they also have laws on catch limits (i am sure asian carp are unlimited) and it is law that you can not waste or allow to go to waste any part of a fish that could be Used as food. these fish would have to be eaten of sold.
I believe Asian carp are 14 cents on the pound, guys net and sell 10,000 lbs a day!

Nobody here considers it unnecessary. It is a destructive invasive species that needs to be exterminated before it reaches the Great Lakes. The few dozens or hundreds taken this way does absolutely nothing to the population. We need a thousand more bow hunters doing this.

This is crazy shit. I live in IL and people get their asses kicked when they water ski, its no joke. Would be best to use something automatic, like a M-60 on a turret. Just swing and shoot. Would also be interesting to use baseball bats, swords and maybe dynamite.

I have to say this looks awesome. If any of you think this is cruel, you really need to get educated on the situation up there. The reality is these guys shooting fish really makes no difference in the numbers of these fish. But they might as well try to make some money guiding folks. I think I might give it a try sometime.
