  • PAUSE VIDEO AT 0:00

PRESS LEFT + DOWN CURSOR AT THE SAME TIME

AND YOU CAN MAKE A SHOOTING STAR EAT ANOTHER STAR! WOW! -_- Zzz

  • Beautiful. But why are the stars moving across the sky?

  • @headlessmule They aren't, it's us who are rotating :D you knew that, didn't you?

  • is this song used in kill bill?

  • heyy will this work with any video camara or have i got tyo have a nightmode thingy oir something else than a standard werlisa 560 HD camara

  • as far as the nighttime/stars unfortunately, no. this won't work with any video camera (as far as I know). this is made up of individual 30 second exposures from a DSLR (Nikon D50), set at ISO 1600. So you'd need a high ISO and long exposures, then lot of photos to put into a timelapse.

  • @romeowhiskey680 aww ok thanks alot

  • @romeowhiskey680

Wait.... So this is a Stop-Motion???

  • This is so beautiful! Do you mind if I use it for a video of mine? I'll be sure to give you all the credit! Let me know, thanks! This is really cool! Thumbs up! =D

  • how can u see the milky way from earth? with human eyes?sumone please tell me1!?!

  • 10!

  • Wow! The Milky Way was so clear and beautiful. City folk like me miss this view.

  • Beautiful video. What song is that?

  • good video, i dont like the music to much though........

  • Ok; I've got my D50 and, since getting Nikon Capture Pro, I've been able to exponentially expand the scope of what I can do with my camera and time lapse! I use your video as a benckmark for what I hope to be able to do with my D50 but I have a couple questions. 1) What lens are you using in this video and 2) are you pressing the suhher button or using a seperate controller/programme to set the off the shutter? Thanks! - Steve

  • all you northern hemisphere peeps miss out on the best view of the Milky Way which is best seen from downunder here in Australia - oh man you can look straight at the centre of the galaxy from here on a clear night, it's like a Spielberg special effect and all you need is dark adapted eyes and bottle of cold beer!

  • That sounds positively magical, dude.

Pm me sometime if you find a good timelapse shot from down there. I've only seen like, whisps of the milkyway before, only when camping

  • I saw a video of a time lapse in autralia.

In the video, you can see in the day sky.

  • Absolutely outstanding photography and video. Can I use some of this in a video I am putting together? Will give you credit, of course.

  • Just beautiful, especially the Milky Way.

  • i was in arizona and the whole time it was cloudy. im afraid i missed out on my chance to see something that beautiful with my own eyes. ohio sucks. maybe someday...

  • You can see tens of thousands, maybe almost a hundred thousand stars with the naked eye or basic binoculars or a basic telescope out of the almost a trillion stars in our galaxy alone.

  • Wow nice vid, how did u combine all those still pictures to make a time lapse? Also, what exposure times did you use?

  • hey thanks, still photos can be combined with video editing software (Adobe premier), exposures change with the lighting and range up to 30 sec in the full nighttime.

  • Just what I needed to see, thanks for this! <3

  • Nice one - got the milky way nice and clear, and looks like maybe even some color! :D

  • really cool. Congrats

  • whats the name of the song?

  • The name of the song is "L'arena" of Ennio Morricone

  • The man who married the words "Spaghetti" and "Western."

  • You mean Sergio Leone?

  • It's when you watch a night sky time lapse that you realise how small we are in the universe or, dare I say it, stuck to a ball of dust by gravity and spinning through space!
