He was once one of the best singers of the world but that was long ago. not only patricks stageacting is much better technically he is also a better singer than eric now. he just has a different voice and can not be compared.

No always a song is registered under the band's copyright. Many times it is the individual composers that own that copyright. When more than one composer is credited and owns the copyright, than more than one are allowed to play the song on their own. Haven't you seen Slash playing Gun's'roses songs by his own? (not that GNR compares to the Kings of Metal, of course!)

I don't understand why everybody seems to don't like scott's playing. it isn't as highspeed as rhino's, but it definitely is furious and fits the whole "battle theme". The drumming of scott is original compared to the straight 80ies metal drumming. But in the end, it's a matter of taste. :)
