  • HOW DO YOU MOUNT THE PHONE AS A REMOVEABLE DISK???

  • not working... shows that circle with a line in it

  • You can burn cds from itumes and convert them to mp3 using windows media player. 100 cds $15.00. You could pay $400 to apple or spend some time doing it yourself.

Burn the disk> open in media player> click rip> it will do everything else. Go to my docs/music drag and drop to sdcard. I believe it has several options for wma (lossless, pro, variable bit), and does mp3, or wav files. Try different for best sound.

  • i like ur itunes email

  • Very helpful! I'm getting rid of my iPhone and ordering my Razr and was worried about my music files... no worries now!

  • That was really helpful. Thank you

  • carrie underwood, one fine bitch

  • Worked great! Thanks for the tip!

  • Will this work with videos too?

  • well fuck itunes

  • Just wanted to thank you.I tried it and this the easiest way to add your music from itunes to adroids. Thanks again

  • Guys, i'm not here to rant, BUT...

    (1) i haven't bought a song off of itunes in years (4 to be exact)

    (2a) i pirate my music

(2b) when the artist is making millions of dollars i won't hesitate to hop on the piratebay, but when they're an indie band or something, i'll buy their music from a record shop(i live 3 floors above one)

    (3) lets be real, as a file management software, itunes cant be beat

  • Thank you for this video. I am finally free of Apple's tyranny! No more bloated evil greedy company telling me what i can and cannot do with my phone, my computer, my music, and my stuff!! GO AWAY APPLE!!

  • dude i love all the bands on your playlist... old blink forever!!

  • CAROUSEL!

  • YOU ARE AMAZING!!! THANK YOU!!!

  • how do you take the blocked ones and make it transfer?

  • not easy

takes fucking forever for 400 sogs dumbass

  • @8887838 you can select and move all the songs at once.....

  • Fuck the easy way, tell me the free (AKA illegal) way.

  • Lolwut, I already have iTunes plus and I didn't even pay for it. Thank you Lord, planning on getting the Galaxy S2 and I don't want to get arrested!!

  • MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE!!! XD YAY!

  • OH!!! Copy your PROTECED music with iTunes on a CD & then import it as MPEG and there you got it without the protection :)

  • Thanks!

  • Thank you for posting this video. Very helpful.

  • like none of the music in my itunes library were "protected" AAC audio files they were all just either AAC or MPEG. Well this makes things very easy for me :D

  • In RealPlayer highlight track, right click and select "rename". Type in song title. Tab over to artist and album and type in appropriate names. It would help to have a printed playlist for the cd. When you copy from RealPlayer to your device the song title and artist's name may not show up in the conversion box but it should show up on your device. It did for mine.

  • yeah but i lose the artist and album cover...

  • Try copying the music to cd's then import to RealPlayer then transfer to your android.

  • thanks

  • Thank you that was too simple with this tutorial!!!

  • Is that thirty cents per song?

  • Thanks this even worked for me with a mac. thanks so much.

  • I didnt have to mount mine. and what I did is I downloaded all my songs off of frostwire and put them onto iTunes so none of mine were protected :)

  • very helpful! thx so much for sharing!

  • If only Apple could admit that Droids are better, and they could merge!

    THINK OF THE POWER!

  • i have the radio free so i dont realy need to download music

  • @ifUreadThisyourGayXD

Why would you bother Watching and commenting on this video then

  • @cruster69 well i wanted to see how to put music on my android just cuz it could be useful some day and my comment doesnt seem to offend anyone i was never hating on anyone from the beggining nor was i saying this video was bad or aynthing so i dont see wat ur trying to say to me

  • thank you for taking the time, it helped me a lot..

  • we listen to the same stuff :D

  • Thank u so much no1 could help me but u did Thx dude

  • Does this apply to movies as well or how do I do that?

  • i cant do it and it doesnt work but thanks for the help

  • old version of windows you got there

  • @lrdefender1690 it's probably XP with the display settings set to 98. I've heard a lot of people do it to speed their computer up.

  • This makes it very simple. Out of all my songs, it turned out only one was protected. Not too bad.

  • Thanks! Your video helps alot.

  • how about apps?

  • 'preciate it dude...hadda a hell of a time figuring it out...but...seen ur vid n had it down in 2 secs ;) THNX

  • OMG great song on the itunes screen:D

  • thanks most of my songs were usable on my phone saved me alot thanks

  • I hate apple for this stuff, I have paid for the music, why should I pay again just because I don't have their phone? Screw them I'm just gonna get all my music on CDs or illegal download from now on.

  • @LightninLew There is no reason why you have to download songs illegally just because you hate the iTunes store... you can purchase songs online from any number of other retailers including Amazon.com, and in some cases you can get it directly from the artists. I have always boycotted the iTunes music store for as long as it has existed after I heard they used DRM protection, but if I want to support the artist I will still buy the music from amazon and often buying the whole album is cheaper!

  • @TheYrogerg I own thousands of songs that are useless to me unless I am sat at my computer. With this terrible DRM I would have to pay again for each individual song just so that I can move the music files to another mobile device or PC. I have already paid both Apple and the artists in my initial payment, who the hell is this extra, extortionate payment going to? It's probably all going to Apple, and the only reason they charge it is to force people into buying their phones.

  • @LightninLew I gathered as much from your first comment, and I completely agree with you! As I mentioned, crappy DRM that forces you to use nothing but apple devices was the main reason which kept me from using the iTunes store to begin with. I was simply trying to offer alternative solutions to acquiring music in the future that would be both legal and wouldn't support iTunes. I think charging extra to remove the DRM from music already purchased is a *totally* dick move on Apple's part...

  • @LightninLew use beemp3.com

  • @LightninLew So you're going to fuck over the artist who created the music by stealing their work? How about you screw apple, there is tons of alternatives to itunes....

  • @Laxer1313 Yes, because we all know CDs don't fund the artists in any way...

  • @LightninLew Absolutely incorrect. What your saying is that because of apples faults with itunes, you should steal music. Itunes and cd's aren't to only way to support an artist. And If you rationalize stealing music then you are simply stupid.

  • @Laxer1313 I said "I'm just gonna get all my music on CDs or illegal download from now on." CDs do fund the artists, but are often stupidly priced, especially if the artist is dead. Take Tupac for example, one album costs about £20 at HMV. None of that money goes to the artist, so that I download. A new Album by a living artist at a reasonable price I will buy as a hard copy.

  • @LightninLew especially if the artist is less than mainstream. Sometimes food is required for people. CD's make money, money buys food. Food let's the artist make more music. it's a good cycle that I'm glad to be a part of.

  • @LightninLew It's not Apple.

    It's digital rights management.

They protect ownership of digital content.

  • @MrPolarbeared DRM is just a name for a type of access control. Apple use this DRM to screw us out of a few more [insert currency].

  • @LightninLew No it's not.

DRM, Digital Rights Management. Please Google it.

  • @LightninLew And they don't.

Apple HAS to use DRM. It's instated by Apple because copyright owners and angry lawyers make it so.

  • I had an iphone for 2 yrs and bought lots of apps, any way to transfer itune apps to samsung fusion?

  • u sir r a genius, i didn't knw u can do that, and i didn't wanna install extra apps just to do this, thanks

  • What about an easy way to copy it into your Android as a playlist?

  • Outstanding! New information to me. Thank you very much!

  • Thank you! You made it very easy.

  • Nice songs (: looks like my iTunes :p

  • Just wanted to say that...if any of your guys have a droid..download tunesync as an app and it will let you download your playlist from itunes wirelessly to your phone...Thanks

    great video btw

    thanks!

  • Awesome. The easy way is to pay again for music you've already paid for...

  • hardingcryst@aol.com

  • The protected songs you can just burn to a cd then rip them to mp3 through Media Player :-)

  • Thanks so much! This really helped! This way actually worked! I'm so glad a found this video!

    -Mario of Mluigi Blog

  • When I try to drop the files into the music folder it says the disc is write protected (on every file I try) Under the "Kind" column, they are not listed as protected, but rather, just AAC audio file. Any thoughts?

  • you got good music

  • Do you know how to copy applications n transfer it to a droid?

  • @JJECKLE13 ayyye, uhm, i dont remember exactly how, but text 242242 and ask how to get itunes apps to a droid, it tells you how and its free

  • Thank you!

  • Thanks for this video! You explained the process clearly. I almost didn't watch because I don't have a Droid--could have used the title "Copy iTunes to Android the Easy Way." Anyway, great job!

  • Works perfect!! Thanks man!

  • Thank you so much for doing this! You're a great teacher!

  • Thanks so much, Mitch!! This made my life so much easier...and kept me legal. :p

  • this guys music library sucks

  • @snyderfootball12

    his ipod his preference

  • @snyderfootball12 he probably thinks your music sucks too

  • Thanks for the how to... it was way easier then I thought lol

  • Dude I'm lovin your iTunes! The kids aren't alright and he'll song. Simply bad ass. I know you must have some more awesome music

  • nice vintage windows OS

  • apple are such dicks

  • Can't drag and drop anymore on iTunes 10.2 update. I have an iPod touch and a phone and I like my music on both I'm case I get grounded from one. Well not anymore 

  • Thanks to you I was able to transfer my music from Itunes to Droid and the entire process was effortless. Thanks!!

  • ^ Android does NOT need an iTunes like interface. Clearly a stupid interface that just lets Apple get in the way of using your computer and your media. Never understood why people use iTunes. Just go to "My Computer", find your phone ort mp3 player, and add any media you want. You can add folders rename anything in in 1/8 the steps as iTunes.

  • blink-182.. fuck YEAH!!!!!!

  • Couldn't you burn the protected ones to a cd and open then on a computer without itunes

  • GET~`_THE¸.¸NEW``¸DROID,`¸PHONE¸_¸FREE~..

  • your itunes library looked exactly like mine for a minute

  • THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH! :D

  • Thank you very much for explaining this clearly. I was able to finally move some music to my phone. Kind in the view option was a tremendous help. Thx again.

  • When I drag my files.. It was a circle with a dash through it and it wont transfer. Help?

  • what file do i drag and drop them in?

  • $326? seriously itunes? :(

  • so usefull.. thankyou so much

  • It won't let me drag and drop any of them

  • I did click and clicked the tab itunes plus.... and it said I successfully downloaded it.. bt it did nothing and it didnot give me the option to purchase for 30cents the protection off the music. And the protection is still on? HELP....

  • love the music selection!

  • that was my music playlist... when I was seven.

  • I'm def going to try this as I just got the new Droid X - thanks for the info! I'll keep you posted if it works!

  • You should just convert the protected DRM files by purchasing a program, rather than pay the money.

  • somebody likes shit pop punk...

  • MP3 Music Download app its great just download the song u want and u got it

  • why does apple have to be like that

  • @X2caleb2X because they are class A whores who don't like their customers think about how badly their getting ripped off. They make nice stuff just love control over everything.

  • @X2caleb2X because they are class A whores who don't like their customers thinking about how badly they're getting ripped off. They make nice stuff just love control over everything.

  • fantastic vid!

  • OMG it worked. Thanks. :)

  • @AnimeFreak866 obviously it worked or else he wouldnt have made a video for it. god damn it.

  • The Verizon software for transferring media worked for me once and then just gave me "fail" messages. The Mortorola software wouldn't even download onto my computer properly. Your way is much simpler and requires no extra software. Thanks so much for the video!

  • Anybody know how to do this on a Mac?

  • is it possible to transfer your itunes apps into the droid 2?

  • can we use "purchased AAC" files??

  • @LittleMoo227 For my purchased one i use the Double twist program but its a pain because fror the music u wnt u have to make a playlist with the music you want on it

  • carousel blink 182 ♥

  • is there a way to move the playlists over as well? i tried dragging it, but it didn't do anything. like, i moved all the songs over, but now there's just a bunch of songs on my phone and no playlists.

  • Thank you so much for the info!!!

  • you have to update your songs in order to put them in you have to buy your songs again!

  • Thank you for taking time to share this. As someone who pays for all music the old fashioned (legal) way, I really appreciated a fast lesson on how to do this and get it onto my Droid. I find that I never even use my iPod anymore, and now will really consider it obsolete. I guess my youngest daughter *will* get one for Christmas after all :)

  • No offense, but dragging and dropping each individual file is an easy way?

  • @Yellowknight888 you can press control and select a group to import hundreds at a time

  • @yomama24734 this will work with every droid phone, including the Droid 2 :D

  • does this work with Droid 2?

  • There isn't a link for iTunes Plus on the new version of iTunes.. So what link should I look under?

  • every single one of my songs r MPEG, FTW

  • Thank you - I'm going to give it a try!

  • You listen to good music

  • but then where is the Music file you created, back on the actual phone??

  • how to you make a file on your computer that is specifically for the droid

  • Great advice on legally unprotecting the Itunes ACC files. I noticed the Itunes plus disappeared on the new version 10 though. Any idea how to do this now?

  • Btw love your taste in music!(:

  • Thanks!!

  • WOW, you actually buy music off itunes, amazon mp3 sells each song for 30 cents cheaper, but its cheapest to buy the physical cd.

  • awesome choice in music.

  • sweet! I couldn't get my music on my droid for the life of me! I did highlight as many as I could to drag and drop, but some of them still didn't work. Thanks, I now have music on my droid.

  • there is a way download double twist its a android itunes

  • @bevfinnigan That app really doesnt work great. i find drag and drop easier, until double twist fixes all of the problems

  • Actually, double twist cannot transfer DRM-ed iTunes to Droid. If you have some protected iTunes files and transfer them to Droid, check out this text:

  • use mediamonkey it is the alternative to itunes it really in sync with ipod and itunes and sd cards usb devices does it all

  • I can't find itunes plus can someone tell me where it is?

  • I want my damn 3:20 back!!! I'm not dragging and dropping all of those songs....

  • @donnythe3 All you have to do is highlight all of your songs and then drag and drop, not one at a time..... :P

  • I want my damn 3:20 back! I'm not dragging and dropping all those songs...

  • thank you alot so everyone knows to get music on all you have to do is when it pops up on your computer make a new folder called music and drag all music int here its simple

  • huh i thought u were going to show how to put music oh well

  • thanks for the video :) work perfectly :)

  • thanks! you explained it nicely!

  • ANDROID NEEDS THERE OWN ITUNES THEY NEED TO MAKE A IPOD INTERFACE ASWELL

  • @trdracer21 Or just sync itunes and droids, and not spend time and money on making a new system..

  • @lokeioto um NO. that's a stupid suggestion because Android doesn't sync with iTunes, why would it, they're competitors.

  • @lokeioto Itunes will not sync to anything but ipods.

  • @trdracer21 they do its called g-tunes you get free totally legal music, just search it in ur widgets :)

  • Comment removed

  • Worked flawlessly on my Snow Leopard imac and Itunes 10

  • You listen to siiiick music!

  • you listen to good music

  • thankyou very much/ it definitely is the easiest way ever. thankyou very much!
