  • Some sick beat boxing, I must say. Most Capellas just take the basic note and hold it, you guys actually sound like the instruments.

  • Great!

i love Beirut and also Cherbourg but this version is just amazing too!

    good job congrats :)

  • What an incredible version of Cherbourg! I really like the harmony in the chorus.

  • really cool :)

  • it's really wonderfull... you made me cry, kisses from france

  • This is incredible. My only quip is that they didn't sing the vocal melody in its true notation. Too harmony driven. It sorta loses the dramatic feeling in Zach's voice.

Other than that, this is solid and incredible.

  • @AnAbsenceOfColor Completely agree with you. The melody is so good by itself. It doesn't need all the harmony.

  • @droctagon17 And where's the melody from the second part?

  • BEAUTIFUL!

  • Genius!

  • I don't think the opening is shaky at all: I LIKE the mouth-trumpeting. It's almost a vintage record sound, a little blurry and old-fashioned. The harmonies are strong and romantic. Great original sound! The sort-of lilting waltz is just beautiful, makes you want to sway along. You guys make use of each voice, creating the richness and depth of a much larger ensemble. Please post more!

  • I love this song! And what you're doing is really amazing

  • Incredible.

  • all of you. ALL OF YOU. i love ya (:

    it's awesome

  • Very nice! (after a bit shaky start :-)) I like!!
