Canada rocks forever and ever, Streeheart is one of those bands where all the songs are good, never heard one I did not like, simply classic!!! and all without MTV or vids....
What the heck is wrong with these stupid classic rock radio station!!????!! I LOVED this beautiful song when it came out in the early 80's and then I never heard it again until now ! What is with that!!This song has a beautiful melody and chord structure .I love the piano/keyboard and that beautiful swoopy guitar solo!
@maple99z I had "Don't Just Stand There" by Haywire, and loved it, and so without hearing it I bought their next album, which was literally unlistenable. (I returned it. - hard rock and metal are fine, but it sounded like bobcats giving their dying screams as they are eviscerated by chainsaws.)
I'm 39, these guys came out when I was in grade 7, and always loved them. It's too bad they didn't go farther, make more music and albums. Kenny Shields is simply a fantastic vocalist. They played in my city just three nights ago.. I went and saw them live! I never have seen them before, never even knew what they looked like. Mr. Shields is an old man now, completely bald and all that - but he had energy and most importantly - rocked the house with his vocals - he sounds exactly the same!!
My 10 year old son, thinks that 70-80's tunes are the best - it pays to blast Streetheart, Prism, Harlequin, Trooper, April Wine, Max Webster in the womb....he's the only kid in his 400+ school with a mullet, and damn proud of it, most people don't have a clue he has Autism......Love ya Jess xxoo
Great canadian music from the 80's due to the children of the second generation baby boomers havin the free spirit to explore emotions without prejudice, hence we enjoyed the rawness of lyrical emotions. Candians rock!!! and i am an american, lol
holy shit, Aldo Nova opening for Streetheart? that is a show. I just saw them live at a free concert at the fair. They kept you thinking they were done but really played for 2 hours straight.
Saw them in Sudbury 79. they didn't let anybody from elliot lake rent hotel rooms when there was any concerts. they destrode some rooms lol first laser. I was so high
Pat Travers band kicked their asses off the stage in Salmon Arm !
