One of Magnard's affecting movements. Thanks for this! I know the Ansermet, Ossonce and Sanderling interpretations, but Plasson compares cery favourably. What he (perhaps) lacks in bite and precision, he makes up for in atmosphere and poetry.

J'avais entendu la version d'Ernest Ansermet avec l'Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, mais cette interprétation de Plasson est nettement supérieure
