I'm surprised that they would collaborate with Nike of all brands, given Nike's history and the fact that they have used child labor to make some of their products. The people making these products in poor foreign countries don't make enough money to eat three full meals per day, let alone putting money aside for other basic human needs. Personally, I don't know if Nike still uses forced labor on any of their items, but I am completely against endorsing them, even if the shoe is cool-looking.

I dont concider trio to be punk because punk music is used to object and send out a message the the governments/coporations that exploit others for money, and their own personal gain and for the majority of their songs none of these elements are in their music.

I guess I am really confused as to why some people really HATE Nike. I know that for a long time Nike wasn't associated with "extreme sports" such as skating and biking and stuff, but they have definitely been breaking the mold the last few years. Nike 6.0 and Nike SB are some of the best things to happen to shoes, so I wish all the trash talking would stop. Also, I think the shoe is perfect for alk3. It may look "kiddish" to some, but I love it!!!
