cellsplicer2008: Because its 94' and there was Windows 95 in beta version called "Chicago" like win7 beta called "Longhorn" [or vista]. Anyway read something before watch movies like that you idiot.
It takes a whopping 8 megabytes of RAM? Are you nuts? Nobody has 8 megabytes of RAM. Except now a days when our mice have more than 8 megabytes of RAM. I piss 8 megs of RAM.
QuickDraw GX was really cool. Resolution independence, beziers, PostScript font wrapping, 32-bit fractional coordinates (QD had 16 bit fixed numbers iirc) and tons of other useful stuff. I think most of it's features are now standard with Quartz on Mac OSX but at the time it was really cool and a lot faster than DPS and similar systems.
